On October 10, 2025 our family suffered an unimaginable tragedy that brought us to Perry County on very short notice. The kindness and hospitality from everyone at Buffalo River Resort was truly overwhelming. Our appreciation cannot be put into words. We look forward to returning in better times.

Booked a cabin for a weekend get away with two friends. We were wanting to tube the river; however the weather was not in our favor. The Friday we arrived was over 90 degrees; Saturday the day of the tube 65. Jen in the office was super helpful and accommodating. We changed to a raft and even though it was raining we had a blast. The river was peaceful. We saw a deer on the banks! We rented a cabin and it had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. I will be planning to come back next summer to tube!

We really enjoyed a family tent camping trip to Buffalo River LLC and a day of kayaking. It was a lot of fun being able to camp right along the river. They keep the camp grounds very clean. We also enjoyed dipping in the super chilly natural spring water. It could be a bit cleaner there but was fun! The kayaking was great for a family with young kids. Staff were all super friendly and they did a good job of trying to keep up with cleaning of the bathrooms over a super busy holiday weekend. Overall it was a fun time and we will plan to return.

My friends and I had a blast! The welcoming staff and great views really completed the trip. The bathrooms were clean and the campgrounds were as well. Depending on where you camped, is what affected the sound level. We camped a little further from the river in a secluded area and it was lovely! There were also tons of spots right on the river. I do wish I had been given more direction on how the float worked because it was a WORK OUT! Loved every minute, just took a lot of energy LOL!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy to find, close to I-40. We brought our own kayaks and used their shuttle service. Did the long float on a Sunday and enjoyed our paddle on the river that lasted about 5 hours (including two long breaks where we pulled off to the side). This was our second time using BRR on the Buffalo River and we'll happily use them again!
