Good for a nite. I stayed a week. I wanted a gravel spot. So, always ask for the concrete pad! I wasnt level. And I was put next to two full timers one each side. He played music all nite. I told office. He drinks. He never slept. And then he kept trying to catch me outside to hit on me, wanting to come into my rig. But I got two trained protection dogs so that helped. He never picked up his dogs poo. And he didnt leash them or didnt the one. And they wanted to keep coming to my door. Poop in my side. My two would of hurt them badly and he didnt listen to that. Then the full timers had little kids. They let them flap all around all day long. One wanted so bad for me to play with him, and Im a older woman. Felt bad, but no. I wasnt a fan of that. Tons of flies too! And the grass is filled with stickers. Laundry room had a few out of order machines and whole week weren't even fixed. But, nice office ppl. Reg, down to earth type.

Stayed for a couple of weeks and the campground is fairly quiet and clean. A pool to cool off in the summer heat, and the laundry room is conveniently located near the pool. Some spots are shaded, others are not, but it has full hookups all over. Locals/long-termers are quiet and friendly. Would stay here again

Stopped for the night at this KOA on my way to West Texas. What a beautiful, perfectly positioned park! Nice gravel pull through spots with grass in between. Worked perfectly for our dogs! We went into Burkburnette and had dinner at one of the local restaurants that was 2 miles up the road. All around a perfect experience.

We actually stayed here twice in April 2024 on our trip to Utah. It was a level, concrete pull thru site, which was very nice. There is not much to do here, but was on our route. Very quiet. Downside were the showers. There were several stalls, so finding an unoccupied shower was no problem. However, the hot-cold water balance was impossible to achieve in both the men's and women's side. The water never got hot for my wife, so she wasn't happy. The men's was either scalding or freezing and the change took 1-2 minutes, so just when you thought you had it set properly, it would change to scalding or freezing again! We spoke with the campground folks and they told us that the valves were opposite of what was indicated for hot or cold. If you want a warm water experience, get your shower elsewhere. The worst KOA showers we have experienced all across the country.

We booked a deluxe cabin. It appears to be basically a "park model" trailer, rustic wood interior, skirted, with a spacious wood deck, and a gas barbecue grill. It has dishes and flatware (forks etc.), a full sized fridge, kitchen sink, decent counter space, a dining table, a futon/couch in the living room with clean sheets, a nice bathroom, and a bedroom with a door. We really liked it. Nice lawn outside and a large enough gravel parking area. Negatives: the vinyl floor needed a good mopping with Mr. Clean or similar, and the hot water for the shower was quite bipolar....warm, hot, cold, warmer. For three showers in a row. But that aside, for campers who might normally use a tent or book the small cabin with no bathroom (go to the toilet block by the office), this place beats even a hotel room, with the added benefit of having your vehicle right outside your door. We have stayed here 5 times.

Northwest Texas has a nice KOA with very friendly folks. We were there on Easter Sunday and was invited to a big potluck dinner in the community center. The park has all of the necessities to make camping comfortable. It's a very good stopover place.

This is a very nice place for short or long term stays. Couldn’t ask for better staff. They’re very friendly and ensure that the amenities and grounds are cleaned daily. They also make sure that everything is in working order (which is huge). They really go above and beyond to take care of their guests. This KOA is conveniently located 35 minutes from Ft Sill and 15 minutes from Sheppard Air Force. It is a very military friendly place to stay. We will definitely stay here again.

The. Campsite is nice, but the bathrooms have absolutely no hot water. We camped there 12/19/21. We arrived at 10pm. Planned to leave at 6am. (Just passing through) we stay at KOAs for the bathroom facilities because our camper is super small and does not have a shower. We woke up at 5am to be the first to shower and head out. It was freezing! When we called back later in the day, we spoke with Trisha. We wanted to inform them that the hot water heater must be broken or something and that we needed to cancel our stay for 12/28/21 (because why stay when you can’t take a hot shower??). Our experience with her was that she was very rude. Told us to call back and speak with Dawn and hung up on us. Not what you expect from a KOA. Very disappointed. Will never return. BUT will be calling back tomorrow morning to express our disappointment with Dawn. (Just fix your hot water heater for goodness sakes!)
