Burlington / Anacortes KOA Holiday

The spectacular Pacific Northwest scenery alone would make this KOA worth a visit. But wait until you see what there is to do!

The spectacular Pacific Northwest scenery alone would make this KOA worth a visit, but wait until you see what there is to do! Take a scenic drive along Samish Bay, hop a ferry to the San Juan Islands or Victoria, B.C., or join a whale-watching expedition. Go shopping at the outlet stores - not far away. Use this campground as your home base to visit area attractions. Groups appreciate the Rec Hall as a gathering place. Enjoy the cool waters of Friday Creek, which winds through the campground, or relax in KOA's indoor pool and hot tub. Have fun with gem mining activities right at the campground. This KOA has long, wide pull-through and back-in sites to accommodate RVs from 30 feet to 45 feet long. You will find plenty of room for your big rig in these large RV sites. This KOA is a security-gated property. Reservations must be made in advance to receive the gate code for an after-hours arrival. Pool Open: Easter weekend - Labor Day weekend. Max pull thru: 75 feet.

Made reservations 9 days prior to arrival date. My husband has to have unexpected surgery and they woul note refund my deposit as it is shorter than 7 days. We have been going there for years and I have never experienced rudeness from any other staff member. We stayed there 2-3 times a year for many years. We will NEVER step foot on their property again.

Paid for a monthly spot and then was charged $10 per night that nine-year-old child was home🙄. Im familiar with the $10 per guest fee which applies to many parks, but I have never heard of a tenant being charged for their own minor child to stay home! Very rude, money hungry manager. Also charged us $10 per person plus a vehicle pass for niece and nephew to come play for a couple hours, even though they all arrived in the same vehicle. Talk about money gouging, especially when most of the amenities are closed anyways… This parks manager gives koas everywhere a bad name!

This KOA is gated so when checking in make sure when you pull up dont pull to far forward or block road way. During our stay the camp ground was clean and quite probably only about a handful of trailers. Somethings I recommend for travelers, bring extra shade for yourself, as more than half the camp ground doesn’t have tree’s or covering. During our stay we didnt use any of the amenities- although we did notice after the fact that the do have a laundry room that is not listed in the amenities. We went to a near by laundry mat about 15 min away, shopped at the super outlet mall.

Nice customer service. Clean campsite. Clean bathroom, good shower pressure. Kids activities: foam party and rubber duck hunt. Small gift for kids. Bouncing pad good size. Yummy, cheap dessert one evening. Indoor heated pool was nice. Pretty scenery. We will definitely come back.

Really nice place. Just far enough off of interstate 5 where you don't get a bunch of freeway noise. Had some really nice cabins. We stayed in our trailer and had it. Just an amazing time there place is very well kept. We've been on the road now for over 65 days going through Canada and Alaska and back through Canada now into Washington. And I will say the absolute nicest showers we've had on the old trip. We rate campgrounds a lot of times by the showers.
