Rocky beach and low water made biking a lot of fun. No bugs in September. Friendly host. Clean washrooms. Nice community campground.

Love the low key vibe in September! We came in without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. The price was $33 night for dry camping and $10 for firewood. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. We snagged a lakefront spot with a direct access path to the beach and it was stunning! Sites are decently spread out, circled around a large grassy area where you can play horseshoes, bocce, etc. what a gem! We will be back!

Really large sites, some sites with water and power and some not. Water is potable, but there are advisorys that elderly people and children should not drink it. To us it was non-issue and we drank it, no problem. The lake and the history, the trails, beach side, all well worth it. Not much around here and closest gas and groceries is in Nakusp. There was a loose vicious pitbull who got away and attacked our dog. Please keep rescues and untrained animals on leash.

Camp sites are spacious, The lake is beautiful. Sandy part for people but wish there was a more sandy area where we could take the dog. A little rocky but still nice. Just hard on peoples bare feet. Great trail to the Burton Cemetery and back easy walking 2 km there and back. But really peaceful. Love the free showers, and host Sarah super nice and tries to keep you informed about things at the campsite and how they work. They sell ice cream, ice, a bit of chips if you desire a small treat. Horse Shoes, volleyball available and able to ride bikes around if you would like to bring them. Sites with water and electricity which is a bonus if you have an RV or if you want electricity if you are tenting. I only took one star off due to the rocky beach area and really not a deal breaker for how relaxing and beautiful the scenery is. I will definitely be back and would recommend it.

Beautiful campsite! Clean organized, tidy camp spots. 23 acres of walking space, right on the lake and river. Clean bathrooms, new out houses, amazing beach. Staff friendly, maintained by the community, AMAZING love this place!

Very nice campground, nice facilities, clean beach. However, the campground Karen that patrols around on her broomstick making up rules as she scowls around needs to be kicked out. Terrible host who needs to learn some people skills and how to be accommodating. She probably gets along great with seniors who like to monitor each other. Would recommend to those 65+, avoid if you're less than 65 years old.

Well maintained campgrounds. Lots of space for camping playing or just relaxing. Nice waterfront beaches and some trails.

One of the best campgrounds we have experienced. Quiet and clean with large grass areas everywhere. Great hosts and lots of friendly campers to chat with and get advice on the area. Best of BC camping for sure...highly recomended.
