We love visiting this campground. Amazing friends everywhere! The bath houses are clean and plentiful, and the "store" always has everything we want or forgot to bring. Highly recommend grabbing a couple scoops of ice cream after a long morning out on the water!

Love my waterfront camping. People and place are as good as it gets.

Love my little river getaway. You can be as active in the camp community as you like, or just enjoy the peace and relaxation. 2 pools, and tons of sticks for easy water access. This is one of the last affordable campgrounds for permanent camping left!

I'd love to have given it 5 stars. I like the place itself. The permanent campers have all been great but the office staff seem super annoyed to be here (except Dennis, and Avery was great, too). The real reason for docking stars though: secruity and trash. The security is 100% biased. They seemed to have known we weren't regulars and were targeting us at the pool about a cooler and what was in it - when it wasn't even ours; yet there were people on the other end ACTIVELY drinking in and around the pool. They told me I couldn't have my dog where the corn hole tournament was, but there was another puppy there. They had a golf cart, so I'm assuming they're regulars. "Secruity" has proven to be a bunch of biased babysitters and makes you feel super unwelcome. The next issue: the dumpsters, even the regulars, were complaining. They were 100% full, overflowing and infested with maggots on the outside. They finally got emptied yesterday, but now you get attacked by the amount of flies. We were also warned about the raccoons, yet if they knew they had a raccoon problem... why would they not have the dumpsters emptied more? It's nature, sure, but... common sense says... I would have enjoyed it and not even left a comment about the trash, but security ruined that. I'm fine with them being super strict (don't you dare touch your golf cart after 11pm) but don't make people feel so unwelcome and only be strict with one kind of group.

Went to the Park with my sister to rebuild the deck attached to her place on the River. Great view of the river especially at sunrise. Bush Park has two swimming pools one for families and one for adults only, a covered venue for picnics, a dog park, storage area for your boat and trailer, numerous boat launch ramps, a general store, several public bathhouse/bathroom facilities, security personnel, open area for concerts and the park is kept clean and roads are maintained. Road into the park is paved but roads in and around the park are gravel and only golf carts are allowed. Electric and gas powered golf carts are allowed. They have trash and debris disposal area.
