Buskin River SRA

The Buskin River SRA is a state recreation area located in Kodiak, Alaska. It is located on the eastern side of Kodiak Island, and is a popular spot for fishing, camping, and wildlife viewing. The area is home to a variety of fish species, including salmon, steelhead, and Dolly Varden. The Buskin River SRA also offers a variety of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The area is also known for its spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and ocean.

Favorite place to frequent for a sunrise, beach walk, or bear watch. There are restrooms, a covering with picnic benches, beach/water access. Dog-friendly.

Drive through the trees surrounding perfect picnic spots in abundance. The Buskin River is a beautiful sight to see and photograph. The river meets the ocean allowing a walk that will provide endless beauty. Kodiak will not disappoint.
