Great place! Relaxing atmosphere! Interesting people! Showers, restrooms, and small general store made our stay here the best on Lake Michigan! Thank you so much đź’“

We return yearly to stay here. Love the grounds, location, and the staff. Zero complaints. Always a great time visiting!

Quaint little campground sitting upon a bluff in Ludington Michigan. A truly remarkable view can be had here. Only amenity is 30amp service, they have a restroom and shower house. It’s owned by Pere Marquette township. They have wood to purchase for your late night campfires. Some of the sites are pretty tight for a big RV, with that, it’s well worth the price of admission to get those views.

Don’t make a reservation unless you are 100 percent sure you will use it. They do not allow any cancellations. No refunds. Even months in advance. Our site had trees with low branches over it. The branches were resting on the roof of our trailer. We had to climb on the roof and use a broom handle to hold them up to open and close slides. Sites and roads are dirt and mud. The view from over at the edge of campground is beautiful. The beach is beautiful. Lots of steps to get to and from beach. We won’t be back.

Beautiful campground. Right next to the beach (have to take stairs up and down to beach but worth it), has a playground, ice, firewood, showers, clean bathrooms, staff is super friendly and campers are nice as well. They offer nightly stays as well as longer stays (need to be booked in advance for long stays). They have power/RV sites for $40 and tent/no power for $35. Definitely worth it. This is a beautiful hidden gem.

Best camping I’ve been to so far in MI. The beach is breathtaking, the campground very clean. There was a lot of harbor noise at night but nothing too bad. Restrooms are clean. There is about 80 steps to get down to the beach so it’s a workout to get back up but so worth it.

Great little campground, the seasonal people held truck or treating for the kids, well run and Great fun. Beautiful location

Pros: The camp is beautiful. Well maintained and with a view that can't be beat. Very quiet and the seasonal campers create a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. Cons: Your in a virtual dead zone. I have T-Mobile and cell service was spotty, as well as some radio stations come in weak. Big concern if your trying to listen to the Lions game. The office only sells ice and wood. So if you need supplies gonna have to go into town.

Overall it is a nice campground well maintained and taken care of. If you like to party this is not the campground for you although it has the perfect view of the sunset and a nice Beach. The bathrooms don't have no way of drying your hands. And if you don't want your tent to be muddy and dirty you don't want to tent camp here. The neighbors stare and make you feel really uncomfortable. Unfortunately we left a day early and paid for the last day.

This camp ground is so special! Located on a bluff above Lake Michigan in a woods, the view is spectacular. It was primitive when I camped there but it has everything you could want now. Good stairway down to beach but walking distance from a real beach for swimming.

This is a smaller campground so if you want to stay here I would definitely reserve in advance! We arrived without a reservation in the evening and the campground was full :( but we asked anyway. The staff was extremely accommodating and found us a spot where people left early which was amazing that they took the time to check! The whole time we were there staff would go around and make sure everyone was doing okay on there site and even made sure you could get your fire started etc. The bathrooms were actually really clean and they were following social distancing rules nicely. They also had two outhouse type bathrooms which are what you expect (they clean this down every morning). The showers were decent as well for a campground. The campground area was very clean, and swept for any debris so you don't have to worry about your tent. There is enough room in each spot to park your vehicle and if you have extra cars there is space on the side of the park to park them! Ok now the area! Extremely beautiful ❤️ my pictures just don't do justice. The beach area stayed really private with only the camping people on it. To the right there was additional beach area for added space which people went to in the mornings. If you are ever looking for a place to stay up in Michigan this is the place to go!
