Earlier this month, we were looking for a place to stay, after hours, in our RV.. We pulled up and found a spot and had a choice of amenities (electric/water or just electric) on a Sunday night. It was perfect for a night stay; easy access to the highway, good value with our AAA membership, and quiet. Each campsite with water and electric had grass, a tree, a BBQ stand, and a picnic bench. The electric only sites were only pull throughs with a gravel pad. The restrooms were clean but we passed on the showers. They were pretty small stalls. We found the rates and info from a flyer outside the campground office (not in use). In the morning, we checked out at Cabela's. Really friendly and warm service from the gal in Customer Service.

This is for TENT CAMPING only. Sprinklers are "on an automatic timer" and flooded my tent, soaked my sleeping bag, blankets and cot. Apparently tent campers are supposed to use the gravel pads BUT NO ONE TELLS YOU THAT. Based on other reviews, I asked at check-in if the sprinklers would be a problem and I was told "they shouldn't be". I should have probed further, but I didn't. At around 6am I went to shower and upon my returned found the sprinklers on and all my stuff soaked. And I have three more days of wet gear before I reach home. Cabela's, cant you just hand a half sheet printout to each camper at checkin which says, get out by 0530 (that would have been fine with me), stake on the gravel beds (which I assumed was for your automobile), beware of sprinklers on auto timers. Something. Grrrrrrrr. The spot is good - in safe and location (super noisy tho) at a great price - if you don't have a problem packing up water logged gear. I'm flummoxed that this keeps happening to people.

We stopped here as an overnight stop on our way across the country on I-80. Arrived after the store closed, they have a kiosk to check in. At first everything was great, nice spot, nice view, clean bathrooms. Then, while we were sitting outside as a family enjoying our evening, the sprinklers at the campsite turned on, soaking us, our equipment, and blasting through the open windows on our camper. They stayed on for 40 minutes, during which time we didn't dare go out our door. Eventually went to sleep, then the power at our site went out at 1 AM. Turns out another section of sprinklers directly next to the power pedestal turned on at that time and blasted water into our surge protector, ruining it. The store did make it right, and kudos to them for that. But we won't be coming back and we don't recommend this campground.

With our 24' self-contained rig it was easy to find a spot. Plenty of room for large rigs as well. Showers could use more shelves, pegs, hooks. Older but clean. Plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again.

Great camp spot! Close to I80 but not too close. First come first served with no reservations. Choose a spot then go to the Cabelas store to pay where you will be given a code for the bathrooms and shower. We were able to get a full service spot. Quiet and beautiful landscape. Large grassy area for tents.

This is an outstanding RV park. It is conveniently located right off the I-80 exit. Laundry room on site, full hookups available or you may choose other options. Big rig parking available, too. Camper site accommodated our 43 ft camper and included a picnic table and grill. To reserve a site you find the one you like, park, and visit the Cabela store to pay. Cabela's staff were very friendly. If we're ever in Sidney, Nebraska again, this site will be at the top of our list!

Cabela's RV park is a great overnight stop. It's first come first serve, no reservations. Find a site, park then go inside Cabela's to pay. Has restrooms, laundry, showers and a dump station. Most RV sites have full hook ups. Great location off I-80.

Great spot to stop when traveling, or to just take the kids when you want a simple camping experience starting out. Tent sites to full hookups, showers and bathrooms. Laundry room. Playground and dump station. Can shop inside Cabela's. Veteran discounts.

This is a nice travel park. Modest prices, And a very nice facility. It’s kept very clean and squared away. It is a grass and gravel park owned by Cabela’s outdoor store. We did not try the laundry or showers here. Cabela’s is right next-door so you can walk over and buy your outdoor gear. There are rabbits and geese in and around the park. The Internet was OK – not great. There’s quite a bit of noise from the nearby freeway, but not enough to be a great distraction. There are a fair number of trees to make for some shady campsites All in all it’s a nice little oasis to stay in if you’re out traveling. I recommend this place. Dave Purkerson

We had a restful stay here. The laundry and shower/restroom facilities were clean and looked brand new. The park filled up quickly each night, so get there early. Very quiet, and everyone was friendly and respectful. Restaurant s and Wal-Mart were less than a mile away. Sites were quite level, all connections worked well. Would definitely stay here again.

1st come 1st serve campground and it is so nice and beautiful here. The people in the store were the nicest ever. So easy to get in and out of. Every campsite has a picnic table and grill. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Love this place!
