My family and I had an amazing stay here this weekend.. We rented the deluxe cabins and they were beautiful, spacious and clean.. The staff were all so warm and friendly during our entire stay.. The events we attended were so fun and the fellow campers felt like friends, even though we had all just met.. I found this campground to be very well priced compared to others and the golf cart rental was a great deal too.. The fishing was fantastic.. We can't wait to come back next year.. Such wonderful memories were made and will last a lifetime... This is a great place and i am so glad that i found it. I would definitely give it more than 5 stars if i could

None of Your business

This is by far the best private campground in Northwest Indiana. You can tell the owner and employees are dedicated to their property. They actually fed the ENTIRE park with a FREE homemade chili dinner, had a raffle for a free weekend, and then had Karaoke. They also had a "wine and paint" event that my wife very much enjoyed. The park is clean, quiet, and has awesome amenities! Yes, the expressway side of the park is a little loud, but not bad enough to take away from a wonderful experience. Actually, the low hum of the expressway in the background is kind of like a nice white noise to help you sleep.

Our favorite place to camp. The lake is within feet of our camper. Friendly staff. A little pricey but worth every penny. The only thing that needs to be changed is check-in time. 4:00 is a little late since by the time set-up is completed it is now evening. Randy and Eva

Extremely clean and well maintained grounds. Clean shower rooms. Very friendly staff. Vey convenient location. We picked up a brand new puppy at Sunshine Acres. "Rusty" loved here!

One of my favorite places to go. Started out in the actual caboose it was a great experience. Now we do the rustic cabin we have our own bathroom outside of our cabin but it’s secluded with access to the lake. A perfect spot to get away. Another great feature is the firewood and ice are the cheapest we have found at a campground that makes us buy from them and they deliver the firewood to your site. They have some wonderful young men that work hard to help the guests. The noise from the expressway doesn’t even bother me us

The team was wonderful. Very friendly and efficient! We camped in our motorhome and the noise from the interstate was deafening! The exit ramp was directly in back of us and the engine brakes from the trucks heading to the truck stops was unbelievable! Could not sit outside at all. The lake is lovely but we were unable to enjoy it. Noise went on all night. The water was not potable as a water main broke in town and I wish that we had been told that before arrival. The cost of the site was double what it should have been considering the issues. The campground was very well maintained and managed.

We loved it! People were nice, Yurt was clean and on the lake. The view was beautiful, and you could fish from the deck. The Bathhouse was clean with showers. Lake was beautiful, and amenities for kids were amazing. Back to school weekend was a blast, with lots of games and prizes! No one walked away empty-handed. Full gift shop and garden to sit in. The only downside is that it is located right next to the interstate, which is very noisy when trying to sleep.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, we were nervous coming into this trip. HOWEVER…we loved it!! Had a blast!! And definitely want to come back. The lake and wibits were very nice and so fun!!! We stayed 8 nights with 5 campers total. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were not allowed to check in 30 minutes early without paying a fee, so we just killed time before going. We were on site B12. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the noise from the interstate. Otherwise, a great relaxing week and the kids were worn out every evening!!

Absolutely beautiful campground! I had a spot on the lake, right on the water, with the most beautiful view. Free Wifi available and every spot is a full hook up which is nice. Staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent fishing from the front of my camper to the lake. Only issue I had was there is very little water pressure. At least at the site my camper was at. Either way, will definitely be coming back many more times.

Our stay at Caboose Lake camp ground was excellent! The camp ground is by far the nicest and cleanest that we've stayed at. The staff are very friendly and helpful with everything. The beach, swim area and the inflatables were absolutely great. The sites are very clean along with the bathrooms and shower house. We definitely give it 5 stars and will absolutely be camping there again very soon! I highly suggest a stay there to any and everyone! There is something to do for everyone. And for those who don't have a RV or tent they have awesome Cabins and Yurts for rent as well. Very reasonable rates on all sites and rentals.

Lovely spot off the highway enough to be quite, with a beautiful lake in it's center. Flat camping spots with enough trees 🌳 for a little shade, but not enough to interfere with our satellite. Nice camp store with cute sundries & snacks. Friendly staff.

Gee I thought of staying here but after visiting their website and reviews I'd have to say beware cause sound like the owner is not kind or friendly at all and has little empathy for heartache situation. Many of the negative feed back was pricing and owner being extremely rude. I think I'll go 30 miles down the road to the other camp ground. I really liked the atmosphere at the deluxe cabins all which were not rented probably cause the rate is insanely high. Oh well moving on from this. Fix your prices and fix the play ground

Nice for a one night stay due to easy off and easy on interstate, but that means there's a lot of interstate noise. The price per night is also a little high to me, especially during non peak season. Looks they have a lot of activities during the summer. Staff was friendly.
