Nice pit stop with my son and puppy. The only thing that disappointed us is that it's sad to see so many people not cleaning up after their animals or leaving garbage lying around. We stopped for the lighthouse but were surprised with beach access and a large open field for our puppy to run and play!

First time camping at Cabot Beach PP. beach is beautiful…sand is super soft and beach is endless. Lifeguards supervising the beach. Excellent place to visit for a day. We were car camping, and didn’t realize the layout of the campsites. If you’re in your RV, no issues, as there are rows upon rows of spots for your trailer. For those car camping in a tent. If you’re lucky enough to register campsites from 80-90, where there are some trees for privacy. Almost all the other sites are in the open, you’re literally camping next to your neighbour, less than 20 ft. No trees, shrubs or bushes for privacy. We’re lucky, our neighbours were super polite and very quiet. Just not used to this setup, having done most of my camping in Ontario.

Beautiful beach with a shallow walkout into the ocean. The water was warm, and we found hermit crabs and other creatures in the shallows. There was a really cool square wave effect as the tide came in. The bathrooms were clean, the sprayers to clean your feet were working, and there were lifeguards on duty. Best of all, it's a free dog friendly beach!

This beach is fantastic. The sand area is huge and not too busy. The water is warm and shallow for a very long way out. Free parking too. Loved it!

Campground was very clean and maintained. All amenities needed, beautiful views. Walk to the beach is long (due to the huge shoreline) so if you struggle with walking then it may be much for you. Make sure to bring a ton of bug spray though as the mosquitos are insane
