Really love the park, the staff, the amenities and the closeness to stores and restaurants.

Part of Thousand Trails they have a few sites reserved for our use. The sites were by the road and noisy, but the site was large and level. Friendly people, it's a 55 and over park with lots of activities if you like. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice touch. Lots to do in the area.

There aren’t many cactuses, to be honest. But I don’t mind. Lovely place. Lovely staff. Love the burgers n brats.

The ladies at front office are very friendly. The park is well maintained and we like that they have gravel on the all the sites. The reason for the 4 stars is because the size of the spot was a bit tight.

RV park was nice, clean and people were friendly. just a bit noisy on the west wall.

Nice, very well kept park with welcoming staff and residents. We enjoyed having Christmas dinner with them. Spaces are big enough for rig and car. The only complaint, which is out of their control, is the noise from the road that was busy day and night. The nearby RR tracks are also very busy, though no train horns are sounded.

It's an older 55+ RV resort. Everyone is very nice and friendly. My husband and I enjoy the pool and hot tub. Lots of activities! The sites are close together, but most rigs are very nice and tidy. I give it a 4 star because the roads have a few potholes, and we're not able to gather mail/ packages on the weekends.

Cactus Gardens is a good, friendly, clean, reasonably priced place for over 55 snowbirds (median age 75) to hunker down for winter. The facility itself is old, but is continually maintained including the hot tub and pool which are very warm, clean and usable all winter. The sites are typically sized. The wifi doesn't reach beyond the buildings, and the cable is fuzzy snow. The location in the Foothills is good near to amenities for shopping and 12 minutes or so to Yuma. The culture here is very dog friendly, however the dog run is outside the park in the desert. The staff are great! They go above and beyond and do what they can. Their mail delivery is 1st class. Encore, however, owners of the property, need to invest. New posts, cable, wifi, pool tile cleaning, bathroom renovation.

We really enjoyed our 2 stays here during our snow birding this winter. The RV sites are all well maintained, the pool too, and the extra activities involving food were welcome, and the permanent residents included us. I esp liked both lending libraries in this park and the one adjacent that is totally open for its use. Take a book, leave a book; with many good titles all well organized!

We spent 5 weeks here in February/March and had a fabulous stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the amenities are excellent and all the facilities were clean and in excellent shape! We will be staying here again!

We purchased here because everyone is friendly with fabulous office staff. We have had problems with the roads inside the park as there are huge chuckholes that are a grave danger to not be repaired in an over 55 community. Now I understand the Encore management has decided to turn heat down to 80 degrees in the pool. This is also a threat to the elderly living in this park. My dues go toward these things and I would like an answer why?

People where very nice, pool and hot tub was refreshing. The laundry room was busy but awesome machines. Wish the spaces where a little larger but what a good way to meet new friends

Cactus Gardens RV Resort has everything one needs to be comfortable while exploring Yuma and area or just to st, settle in, make new friends and do any of the activities offered at the resort. There is a library, book e change, shuffleboard, billiards room, Rec Hall (where Pot Lucks bingo, socials and dances are held)! Mail is delivered to the office and office staff and camp hosts are available to answer any questions. It is quiet and people are very friendly. Pets are welcome, no more than 2 per site.
