So..... When you spend $30 on 3 drinks and realize on the last one ( shot of Jack Daniel's whiskey) that they totally WATERED DOWN the alcohol ( I'd say 40-50% water) after spending $240 on a camp spot for 2 nights its a little frustrating. The place is nice, but if you're gonna charge premium prices on drinks then make them quality drinks. The park was pretty clean, and the staff was pretty friendly. Overall not bad, but for a guy that comes camping to unwind and catch a buzz I was a little turned off by the crappy drinks. Rant over.

Probably a great place to take the kids...but for mature adults, it was a disappointment. Campsites right on top of each other, campground lighting that made it seem like daytime 24hrs, kids and adults zooming around on golf carts. Now, it was too cool to enjoy the pool, and that may have helped. I guess I am just an old fuddy-duddy, but we did not enjoy our time here.

The ladies at the front desk was exceptional. A map detailing gate and restroom access codes was provided. Our campsite was level, facilitating an easy setup of our camper. We enjoyed beverages at the bar, where the bartender provided excellent service. We also had the opportunity to watch the LSU game by the pool. The shower facilities were notably clean and well-maintained.

Where to begin arrived on a Sunday. Front reception seemed annoyed to have to help us check in. Was hoping that it would get better from there. Monday to Friday- garbage cans around the park were not just full, but overflowing. Dog waste cans full. Dog park ones have flies swarm when you open it. Bars are closed until Friday. Drinks are watered down and pricey. Weekends are crazy, it should be Camp Chaos for the name. No security, kids in the 18 and over hot tub. Halloween decorations going off all hours of the night. People driving golf carts through your site. Golf carts everywhere, hundreds of golf carts. Very loud music with heavy bass driving around all day and night. The staff is young kids. I applaud them for working, but they need better training on how to handle rude people. This destination was on our list for a while, it was disappointing.

We stayed here for a night in the RV area, as we drove our motorhome back to its storage place. We were impressed with the clean facilities, the pool area, and my boy thoroughly enjoyes the bball court (lights would be great!!) While the restaurant and bar weren't operating (reason for the 4 stars on service) the check in lady said we could give them a call if we wanted a margarita or something and they'll come and fix, and she made mention of the Crawfish USA restaurant situated Just off site through the gate. We had dinner there, it was awesome!! Great food, atmosphere and service. We are coming back to the US in July and have already booked 4 nights back here for July 4th weekend.
