Beautiful campgrounds, most with electric. No water hookups, water is a available in a few spots located throughout the campgrounds. Bathrooms were clean. We stayed off season in October for only one night traveling through. Half the bathrooms were open, which was nice given it was also the government shutdown . We would definitely stay here again.

Can't encompass the the whole lake on one experience but the weather was perfect and the lake level was great, especially for the amount of beach area.

A solid fishing lake. It's remote and there is no marina, so plan in advance for food, water, and fuel if you're taking out a boat.

Amazing lake and wild life. Fishing was great in early morning and at night. The swimming beaches were the best for the 100*+ weather we had soft sand cool water that got deeper gradually.

Nice place for fishing. We started out on the north eastern side of the lake. Then we went to the west side. Did good. Caught some fish. Nice white sandy beaches.

Clean, well kept camping area. Multiple bathrooms all well kept. Reasonable camping fee. I don't care for coin operated showers, but they were clean. Really close to the beach. The beaches are sandy and beautiful! Close to local breweries. Definitely camping here again.

One of Nebraska's hidden treasures, beautiful setting in the sand hills. The lake has excellent fishing and as the water drops over the summer the entire shore becomes a perfect white sand beach. The lake is split into two sections the upper approx. 5 miles is no wake, this allows fishing without the boat and jet ski traffic. The lower approx. 5 miles has many recreational boaters, skiers and jet skis on the weekends with many stopped in groups on the miles of beach. We love the friendly, laid back atmosphere around the lake and in Burwell and Taylor.
