Nice location and the staff was great. But if you have a motorhome, do not stay here. Sites are very unlevel, short and narrow. Don't know why or site was so short as we had an open field behind us. Had to put board under my motorhome tires so I could level my coach. If you have a trailer, this is not much of a problem. Also, on every other site, the connections for water and electric are on the wrong side. Had to get extra hoses so I could hook up my water. The site pads are also poorly maintained. Not pet friendly either. No dog park or potty bags. Will not stay here again.

I wish I could give a better review for this campground. I will start with the good.... its close to the amusement park and the staff was friendly. Other then that stay away. The campsites themselves are small and on an angle . There is literally nothing to do at the campsites, no fires allowed , probably because there's no room in the site to have one , no playground for kids. The bathrooms were disgusting , the urinals didn't flush properly and were always full of , well you know. we had 3 nights there for the stay and play package and I would say it is very not worth it. Will not be going back to that campsite

It was our first camping experience and it was incredible. When we got there we were welcomed with open arms. We were given all the information about the campground and where everything was and shown witch site was ours.Everthing was very clean. The bathrooms the showers and the laundry room. Having the store there was great for us. We found it a very relaxing and quiet campsite and will definitely come again.

I had a good stay here! Bathrooms were clean, store was nice with good selection, kind staff with good service.. We came here during our road trip, and this was the perfect place to stay. There is also a big field where people were playing various games there. It's right by Calgary so if you absolutely need anything not at the shop it's easy to stop in. The setup was a bit awkward because of the plot shape (we had a tent) and we had to clear some rocks and twigs so we wouldn't be sleeping on rocks. My only other complaint is that we paid for wifi and it didn't work. It kept disconnecting us, or just generally being super slow. And also, we -paid- for it.

Calaway RV Park and Campground is a perfect base for the Calgary Stampede! Just 15 minutes west of the city on the Trans-Canada Hwy, it offers easy access to the Stampede grounds via shuttle service (check with campground). The campground is well maintained and clean, with super friendly hosts who make you feel at home. Spacious sites with full hookups and spotless facilities are great for RVs and limited tenting. Next to Calaway Park for family fun and with mountain views, it’s an ideal spot. Book early for Stampede week!
