Needed a quick overnight stay with our 5th wheel, on very short notice. Becci was able to get us a spot, we were traveling all day so was a bit after 8 pm when they closed for the day, but Becci was able to get us in. Left early in the morning so didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities, however talked to two other campers who were enjoying their stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 families and had a great time. Easy check in. Quiet at night. The campground is clean. The beach and amenities were also great. Highly recommended and would come back.

The site we got B56 was well, not really a site. It's more like the pathway to the only washroom in the camp. Super busy and no privacy at all. There was no picnic table. $80.23 taxes in and a $6 booking fee, which I am not sure why they charge that. I called on the phone. Overpriced! I have had way nicer sites for $50. Lake is nice, but very busy.

It has a lovely beach in a nice area. However, power and water were an issue. We paid for 30 amp service. We continually had brown outs for the entire week. Our surge protector was thankfully shutting us down when the power would drop or brown out to a point where there could be potential issues for our coach. For water we had to use our pump from our fresh tank most of the time, but would get some pressure from their system from time to time. It did get a bit better as the week went on. The owners believed they had a leak issue somewhere in their water system, which can happen, but not fixed during our stay. The power issue was more concerning. Although we were told it is worse on weekends (and warmer) due to higher use the issue continued the whole time we were there for our entire group. I can assure you that we were very careful what we were running. Tania (owner) suggested our issue was with Hydro not her, but as a consumer/client of hers I am not responsible for the issues she is having with Hydro One. I paid for a service over $400., if I am not getting it then lower my rate to compensate, which did not happen nor was there an apology. Tania was more concerned that we had not reported this issue to her sooner, a good point, but based on our time there, other reviews and other guests we spoke to it would not have changed anything. Tania and Gil are decent people and I am happy to support small to medium size businesses, but I want to get the service I have paid for... I and my other friends paid for 30 amp service, water and sewer. The water was hit and miss and of course there will be some power modulation but full on regular brown outs was too much. Tania, as I mentioned when you called me, take your fight to Hydro One, because if they are the issue, you are also most likely paying too much. Gil (owner) thank you for your help with my nephews dog and leash. You were very kind and wonderful to help us when his dog broke his leash and made a run for it.

Friendly and helpful Staff/owners. Clean Bathrooms, and awesome beach for small kids. The beach had playscapes, and water trampoline and water slide. Would definitely stay there again!!

We booked 4 months in advance for a 2 night stay, expecting a campsite. What we got was the parking lot of the bathroom. We spent the entire night in our camper as we had people tramping through all night. They seem to cater more to seasonal rather than the "transient" campers. And they charge a transient fee as well. Disappointing end to our 2 week camping vacation. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The reason I rate this parc a 1 of 5 is simply because of 5 different reasons. First off. the lack of respect from the owners. I’ve been to numerous camp grounds were the parc owners welcome us with open arms and are very friendly. As a retail worker I know how costumer service is a key part in running a buisiness. I want to address this to further help you out. Not once during my stay did me or my family feel welcome. Reason two is that the parc is not well maintained. The camper was scratched from the outgrown trees. I should not of had to pay extra fees during my stay because of lack of service. Reason 3 is that the parc is very loud due to highway 11. Railroads and airport nearby. The parc also lacks in activities. The only activity that there is a night is to have a fire. But from what I’ve heard on you’re Facebook. There is an “curfew” at 11. So me and my family were scared to have a fun night because of the fear of getting kicked out. But now I wished we would’ve gotten kicked out. The 4.5avg rating on here does not relate at all on this campsite. I hate being a the bringer of bad news but I wanna help this campsite out because I believe it has such great potential. -John
