Our camping trip at Camp Branch was a shocking success. The restrooms were so clean, I almost mistook them for a fancy hotel. The playground was such a blast, I think the kids actually forgot about their screens for a full five minutes. And with lake views and roomy sites, we only almost tripped over each other a few dozen times. Pure bliss!

This campground is nice and has easy access to the water to fish. The bathrooms are clean but the shower house is the typical, don’t touch the walls and have flip flops on at all times. To camp with electricity is 40.00 a night so it would have been nice to have cleaner showers.

My family loves it here! 30ish minutes from KC. Campgrounds are kept clean. Reasonably priced camping. Nice playground for the Littles. Trails all around the lake. Each campsite comes w/ picnic table & fire pit/ grill.

I love this place so much! It's like my home away from home. I do wish people would consider other campers around them more though. Especially when they are camping with their children/family. We can make this work for all of us and have a great time without getting belligerently drunk and screaming at our gf/bf (and strangers?) all night right? Some of us come out here to get away from the drama of the world. Don't be bringing drama to my happy place y'all! Please? Glad we talked 🙋🏼‍♀️🤝✌️ Happy camping 🙂🌻🦋💛☀️🏕️

Beautiful campground. Sandy Beach for the kids, not the ocean but as close as we can get here in Missouri! Been coming here since I was a kid. Never a problem! Prices have gone up some.

It amazes me how certain people can continously break multiple rules and keep me and my kids up all night long and not care at all. I try to be quiet and respect others up here but guess I'm the only one. I contacted park staff multiple times and they kept saying they sent someone out. Nobody ever came. Me and my family left are now leaving early do to the lack of respect for others here and won't even refund my money. I will never be back and if your smart you'd go to Truman lake where at least get a little privacy instead of stacking people up like a mobile home park.

This is a great camp ground. They have fire pits ready and wood easy to pitch at the gate. Get a car pass to come and go as you want during your stay if you rent a location. Available with running water and electric but those spots get taken quick so book ahead. Every camp spot has a good view and are pretty far apart. Walking trails are also easily accessible and there are bathrooms close to each camp spot. Comes with a patio table and fire pit. Super close to a super small town called Paradise that has a great restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner if you don’t want to cook. Beach access to go fishing too!
