A surprising mix of location, nature, family fun, and close proximity to everything cool in Coeur d’Alene - especially for those traveling by RV, travel trailer, or staying in a cabin or tent. This campground is very popular with locals, so expect some congestion on weekends. But since there’s so much to do nearby, it doesn’t feel as cramped or hectic as many typical "RV resorts". Most people just sleep here and spend their days out hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, exploring downtown, or playing the iconic Coeur d’Alene Golf Course with the world’s only floating green. The best thing about this place? The people. Everyone who works here is passionate about the travel lifestyle - truly positive and incredibly helpful. The guests were great too. We had good conversations and enjoyed the company of fellow travelers around the campground. There’s a small store, a pool, and canoe/kayak rentals available. You can also bring your own craft (with a PFD) and launch from the site - just check in at the office first. Once you’re on the water, it’s about 10–15 minutes by paddle to reach the lake. Next time we’re in Coeur d’Alene, we’ll very likely book another stay here for a few more nights. It’s a great base camp with a welcoming atmosphere and easy access to all the adventure you could want.

Picturesque and beautiful ❤️ if you are in an RV, bring a tent and book 2 sites tent and eat at 202! Most stunning private view of lake CoeurD’alene. Marlo was the perfect hostess and I wish we would’ve come a week earlier so we could stayed longer.

We stayed for a brief stop over during a road trip. Facilities were in excellent shape, camp host was wonderful, and campground beautiful. We have added this to our list of campgrounds we would like to come back and visit for a longer stay. Bathrooms and showers were cleaner than most hotels I've seen lately! Way to go!

Very beautiful location, you can feel like you are almost in the middle of nowhere whilst being within half an hour of good shopping. The one complaint I had about the slot number 1 campsite was exiting, even in a vehicle with a decent turn radius that required some careful maneuvering to make it around the fence posts. The amenities are fantastic for a campground, even if a lot of the support structures are showing their age (missing shingles, broken roofing), but nothing felt unsafe. It felt more like anything that was needed maintenance is getting taken care of as it is needed and other maintenance is happening as they can, whilst still making very nice improvements.

Stayed here for one night while on a road trip out to Seattle. The camp site is well maintained. I had a tent site up on the hill. Very quiet but, the road up is very tight for a full sized SUV. Also, you may have campers literally right above you on the hill. This caused me no issues, but would definitely want to be aware of it. The camp kitchen is an open air rotunda that is very convenient for preparing meals and I used it for dinner and breakfast during my stay. They have individual shower rooms that are clean, but a little dated. I wouldn't have issue with staying here again in the future.
