The campground is under new ownership since December 2023. Currently closed for improvements. New landscaping improvements to facilities. The new owner is great. It will be a family-friendly campground. Clothing required. Name changed to "River Oaks RV campground & retreat". Web and phone not updated yet. Looks like rooms are being upgraded or removed. Sadly, not much can be done about the road. Each section is owned by the individual homeowners that face the road. They built out there for privacy and / or lake access. Maintaining the road would take a coordinated effort and then faster traffic and more volume.

Used to be good. Is now under new ownership. With a lot of amenities being built and updated. Going to be a great new place to be responding, doing my entertainment and just living. Come check it out. New Name is "River Oaks RV campground & retreat"

Been going here since I moved to FL (10 years) rooms are shabby, location is deplorable, service (check in) is good. And the guys are 1st rate: total nudity, friendly atmosphere...can't ask for more...

Had a great time at camp and will return next year. Would like to see some improvements, like maybe a few coats of paint, updated/better selection of videos and perhaps keep the hot tub available for sore night owls. Staff is awesome and most visitors and full-time residents are friendly and fun. Ample parking and showers are available inside and outside. There is also a camp store and washer/dryer machines. Looking forward to our next visit.

A great place for peace and quiet with lots of beautiful frogs, birds, and other wildlife. I come here every fall with my boyfriend and appreciate the intimacy, and the tranquility of this vacation place.

From my first visit to my most recent one, I thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity and rustic nature of this special place for men. Plentiful rustic space to roam, or socialize as well, as you enjoy the sun and gorgeous Florida weather sans clothing. Sensible rules and regulations without being overbearing. Very private and secure. Left each time feeling liberated and refreshed thinking about the special moments and sharing good feelings and times and planning my next return. Relaxing and relaxed environment where you can express yourself or not without judgement. Just be yourself and go with the flow. Very friendly and hospitable residents willing to share their special environments unselfishly and ensure that you enjoy your time at Camp David. Very pleased that I finally took the time to explore and enjoy this special place.
