Amazing campground! It was busy on a fall weekend, but just added to the experience. They have a concrete walk path along the beautiful river. The camphosts are great! The pit toilets are CLEAN! Even had air fresheners! Saw 3 Moose next to camp! Definitely recommend this campground and only a short half hour drive from busy Estes Park.

Amazing campground, absolutely wonderful. Camp hosts are awesome & it’s just a little slice of heaven! Great trails for hiking & also 4x4 trails along the river!

Great great campground! Water was off but it was October so understandable!! Mostly quiet and peaceful but there was quite a few off-road vehicles that drive thru going to trail at end of campground! Wasn't terrible but I heard it's pretty busy during the summer! Creek runs right beside quite a few spots and there's a few trailheads right in campground! Overall I loved it! Clean, amazing camp host, I want to go back! This was site 25!

Really relaxing campground! Quiet location, low traffic, pleasant hosts, and a river that flows by some of the sites. What more can you want!? Bathrooms are vault toilets, but at least it's something Fire rings are at each site along with a charcoal stand grill and picnic table. Each site has a leveled tent pad, too, which was a blessing! There are over 30 sites and while they did fill up on the weekend it did not seem packed because there's a generous amount of space between each site. Cell service is spotty for Verizon and nonexistent for other carriers. Pleasant Valley camp down the road has cell service but that's a net loss for me on a camp trip. Good place and will go back!

Great campground! Visited mid Oct as this was one of the only campsites still open for the season. No hookups for RVs, but vault toilets are available and were very clean when we visited. Water was already shut off for the season. Camp host appeared to be hired by a company and wasn't saying onsite but visited daily and had some firewood for sale. Sites on the exterior of the road are spaced out well, however sites inside the loop road have no shade and are very exposed. Traffic to the trail head can also be slightly annoying depending on your site. Note trash pickup is around 6:30am on Thursdays.....so if you are close to a dumpster be ready for some noise. Bear boxes are available at all sites. Lots of great hiking all over / around the camp. Bugs (gnats) were bad in the afternoon. We'll be back but will look for a site away from the dumpsters and away from traffic going to/coming from the trail parking lot.

Love it here!! Will keep coming back as long as they don't raise the rates. It is affordable for every day people.

Stayed here end of August for 3 nights. Very nice campground and very good if you want to disconnect for a few days. We did not have any cellphone coverage and so could really disconnect from work etc for a few days. The landscape is beautiful and we had a tent side next to the creek which was awesome! There are bear safe lockers for storing your belongings and multiple faucets to get water. The campground does not have showers so we went to Village Laundry Inc. in Estes Park on the way back from RMNP. There are also public showers at Meeker Park Lodge on CO-7 but we have not used them.

So close to home and no cell service so you can enjoy nature. Hiking biking or just relaxing.

Moose sighting entering camp. Nice hiking trails. Campsite was very nice and spaced far apart enough for privacy.
