This was a really great experience. I have been trying to get my kids off of the electronics and this place for sure did it! First let talk about the customer service. It was superb and unfortunately I never caught the lady and gentleman who helped us names! But they were absolutely amazing! They were extremely kind and so accommodating! They went out of their way to make sure we were all squared away with everything! The tents were amazing. We were hoping for the tents with electricity but they were booked out so if you want one of those plan your trip ahead of time. The tents without electricity are just as fun if not better. They forced my kids to get off their electronics and we pulled out the classic monopoly and the kids were actually involved big time and enjoyed the whole night! Sleeping by the sound of the river, frogs, the slight rain we got, and all of nature was so peaceful! The tents are spread out so you feel like you have your own domain! Clamping is a must try and I for one will be back to do this experience again but longer! Thank you guys for making this experience a memory of a life time!!!

We are currently staying here and I am so pleased with everything so far♥︎ the staff is what puts the cherry on top. I promise you won't find nicer people anywhere else. Not to mention you have some pretty amazing bbq right next door! We stayed on a concrete pad that was pretty level and had a great view of the water. We love it here and will be back again

Stayed in a dilapidated cabin, (at least it wasn’t the cabin with a tarp on the roof), used the sketchiest bath house with lots of bugs, but the cherry on top was the rude staff. Upon arrival one staff member barked at us for parking in the wrong spot (apparently our cabin didnt come with any kind of parking), then another lady came over to chastise us for having our pets (that we already made arrangements to stay there) & about our guest who wasnt even staying at the site. I’m not one to write bad reviews but I dont want anyone else to waste there money.

Stayed here many many years ago under other management, but it was an experience like something out of a movie. We were told to not travel down a certain road by a guy that looked like a riverboat gambler driving a black Trans Am with the big hood decal and gave us better directions. In the morning, we saw we were on the edge of the bayou and could hear dogs and shotguns off in the distance. It was a perfect mix of Deliverance and Smokey and the Bandit with camping. Trust me, I'm NOT exaggerating.
