Gem of an RV park right on Route 66. Easy in and out with many pull thru sites. Easy online booking. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only reason not a 5 star is many sites not level so 4.5 star. Owner accommodated us moving to a more level site. Excellent customer service.

Traveling Rt 66. Ran across this little gem of an RV park. Spacious sites, very clean laundry facilities and bath rooms. Plenty of hot water, best camp showerhouse! Solar powered RV park, with filtered water and filtered ice for sale on property. I would definitely recommend.

I first came to Camp Micasa in January because it stood out as an affordable option with a real focus on sustainability. After a short stay, I decided to extend my time here because I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the park. Having traveled to many RV campgrounds—from lakeside retreats to oceanside parks—I’ve learned to appreciate the little things that make a campground feel welcoming: clean and efficient restrooms, well-manicured grounds, and prompt problem-solving if an inevitable issue arises with water or power. Camp Micasa has consistently met those expectations. Since reserving my site online in January and extending my stay for work and school, I’ve found the campground to be very clean, well maintained, and continually improving. The new management team has been present and engaged, ensuring that every guest—whether here for a weekend getaway, an overnight stop, a longer stay, or even tent camping—has a positive experience. It’s clear they genuinely care about the park and the people in it. I’ve also noticed ongoing improvements being made weekly, which tells me the management is committed to keeping the campground a great place for both current and future guests. From my perspective, some of the negative reviews I’ve seen don’t reflect the reality of what it’s like here now under new management. For example, I even read one that mentioned paying a lease for a site—something I’ve never encountered at any of the 30+ campgrounds I’ve stayed at across the country. As someone who loves the traveling lifestyle, I’ve come to understand that a campsite isn’t meant to replace your home—it’s a place to park your home while you explore, work, or rest. When treated with the same respect you would show as a guest in someone else’s home, Camp Micasa offers exactly what you hope for in a campground: a clean, well-run, and welcoming environment.

Truly disgusted! New ownership of this place is going to truly sink this business!! You wonder why this place isn’t packed like used to be! After years of camping at this site and having an amazing experience each time, even sending friends and family there while they traveled, I’m truly disappointed in the new owners way of treatment of guest! The new owners aren’t welcoming when arriving. Acting as if you owe them your business. Showing up at all hours of the day not caring of their guest time or sleeping schedules. Even causing hostile arguments with guest over minor incidents. This is no longer a place I’d recommend anyone going to anymore! I’d rather spend more money for a stay and actually enjoy myself than EVER have to deal with these new owners.

Easy in, easy out. Plenty of room for my 43’ Class A with tow. Internet was out at the park but the cell coverage was good enough for streaming and computer use. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean and the yards and flowers were kept in good shape. Convenient to Ruby Jack Trail for bikes and walking and the Drive-in theater. Definitely a go to when passing through or exploring.

Pulled in for a one nighter. Very cute, retro campground on old route 66. Easy to book online and amenities are nice and well maintained. Didn't see any folks in office but there is phone access. A little road noise but quiet at night. Would definitely recommend.

Camp Mi Casa is our go-to place when we visit the Carthage, Webb City and Joplin area. We have stayed here 5-6 times and we have been thoroughly impressed every time. The owner’s are absolutely dedicated to running the best RV Park in the area. Communication before and during each stay has been excellent, and Stephanie is very helpful and accommodating. You will NOT find a cleaner bathhouse, restroom or laundry facility anywhere. They are always clean, fresh and well-maintained. This is the only place we will ever stay when visiting family in this area. Give Stephanie a call and book a stay…you will be very happy!

Stayed 5 nights. Very quiet park, and well kept up. Interactions that I had with staff were pleasant. Although I didn't use the pool it was clean and well maintained. Did not check laundry or bathrooms, but I can imagine from the rest of the park they are fine. Lots of grass for walking your dog. Suggestions would be maybe a gated area to allow your dog to run off a leash. Will definitely stay again if we find our way out here again.

Clean and beautiful park. Pictures don’t do it justice right now because there has been storm after storm interfering with mowing. The owner was super friendly, into essential oils so the office and bathrooms smelled great! Sites are large and I was told #18 is the one most people want.
