Kind of trashy. Many year round campers. Pool is destroyed along with one bath house. I was told that Kentucky river flooded into campground. Could be a beautiful campground with some hard work. The palisades on one side and river on the other could make a beautiful spot.

This is our second time staying at this campground. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The campground has been hit very hard two times this yr by flooding and it shows. I seen them working everyday trying to fix and clean it back up and I know from my past experiences with flooding they will eventually get there. I wish them the best and if we're ever in the area again, I would definitely go back. So if anyone is looking for a safe kid and animal friendly place to stay go there.

Great place to visit and either camp or drive/tow your RV to. This pla e is a hidden gem that is quiet, clean, and never packed with campers, travelers, and sucb. There are showers, bathrooms, plenty of room to walk around. There are a lot of places to go and explore. There is a swimming hole about 5 minutes from there. You need to see Trudie who will take care of you. See pictures for the swimming hole.

Stay away from this park. If you ever watched the movie Deliverance or Bates motel that is what it looked like. If we didn't Have to stay there we would have high tailed it out of there. We were actually scared.

Access by foot via barricaded bridge over the Kentucky River. Poison ivy abounds. Graffiti abounds. Pool appears clean. Depressed buildings are visible with no "healing" in site. Water sanitation plant is in need of upgrades and sanitation inspections. One thin boat ramp present. Clutter abounds. One side is in need of a building demolition and the other side is a cul de sac of RV trailers on a clean area road.
