Best "long term" campground we've stayed at! Nice and quiet. Well priced and the campground is kept up nicely. Great playground by the fishing lake for kids too! Met and exceeded our expectations.

Bring your own internet - no Internet for the camp ground. Bring your own toilet. Their toilets have been out of commission for a week, the nearest gas station is an 8 mile drive. They accept year around campers, but the 2 biggest requirements they fail on. Even ATT has connection issues in this area. Pretty expensive for the poor quality.

Cabins and campsites with full hook ups, electric only and primitive camp sites. Beautiful place with fantastic staff!! All sorts of camping accomodations for one night or more. Prices are great per night or for longer stays. They even have golf carts you can rent! They have a Zipline course that goes throughout the campsite and over the lake. Boat rentals to fish, a beach to swim in or lounge on the clean white sand and bathrooms with separate shower rooms. There are trails to walk through the woods and a playground for the littles. This is a great place with something for everyone. It's quiet here too, people respect the rules and that's nice. It's cozy and comfortable, I highly recommend.

I arrived at this campground with low expectations based on the pictures and previous reviews, and unfortunately, it didn't disappoint - it was even worse than I anticipated. On Sunday afternoon, after 3 pm, there was no one at the office, and the after-hours instructions were unclear. We had to call the listed numbers and wait about 30 minutes for someone to arrive and check us in. The campsites themselves were mostly sun-exposed, and the prevalence of full-time RV residents meant that the area could be quite loud. On the plus side, the campground did offer full hookups. However, the lake in the center of the campground had a strong, unpleasant odor, which seemed to affect the nearby campsites. The three showers available to all campers were not divided by gender and were not well-maintained. The women's bathroom lacked a door, while the men's bathroom appeared to be in better condition. The dumpster was consistently full and smelled terrible, and there were numerous old motorhomes parked throughout the property. On the bright side, the campground's proximity to Huntington made it convenient for grocery shopping and dining. Overall, I would caution potential visitors to be aware of the campground's limitations and potential drawbacks.

Had a great stay at Camp Timber Lake just a few minutes from Fort Wayne, clean restrooms, park was well maintained and quiet.

The location and cabins are 5 star. Special recommendations go to the support staff member named "Rowdy". Rowdy keeps rodents in line while he provides excellent customer service Rowdy does expect treats.

The location is in the country which is great. However the camping lot was filthy. It seemed as though a seasonal camper ledt but staff never cleaned up the spot. Silverware, hose parts, fake plants, tomato cages were just a few things we noticed. There were junk cars abandoned campers. I think it might be a great place Iif some time and effort was put in.

I like the location out in the countryside. At first look, the place needs some sprucing up, but it does grow on you once you get out and have a closer look. A lot of junk out in the woods, old campers parked out in weeds. There are too many golf carts, especially after dark. Speed limits are not enforced. The pond and swimming area are well maintained, but lack signage telling how to get there. Over all, with some tweaking, we would consider going back.

We got a cabin and it was beautiful and so peaceful little trail to the lake. The cabin was so clean and very relaxing on the inside. We just loved it We will be back. Great campground we couldn't believe how quiet it was on a Saturday night. Oh I cant forget to mention the cats oh my daughter just loved the cats.

Jennifer and I had a great day out of the office and enjoyed Timber Lake's Adventure Course. 7 zip lines, 4 rope bridges and the sky hook! Matt and Jed were professional and entertaining! We highly recommend an afternoon out with this crew!

Go zip lining in Roanoke Indiana! This made for a great afternoon. It’s reasonably priced, fully guided, no skill needed, just show up and zip. The guides were great, they teach you everything you need to know, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate everyone (even those who might be a little afraid of heights. All equipment is supplied, and they have a short adventure, takes 90 mins to 2 hours or a long tour that takes around 4-5 hours. The zip lines on the short tour are up to almost 400’ long, and on the long tour there is a 1000’ line over the lake. Line heights are from 20’ to 70’, but with the natural landscape the seemed higher while you’re doing them.

This place is phenomenal for a camp ground! Got everything from RV/camper sites to primitive camping spots. They also have nice little primitive style cabins. No showers, sinks, or bathroom in the cabins but the bathroom/shower house is just a short walk across the parking lot. If you decide to stay here make sure you check out the zip lines. It is lots of fun and the zip guides are great people! The fishing is great even managed to catch some big ones. It’s nice that they also rent out John boats to paddle around in! After a long hot day the swimming pond is amazing to float around in. All in all it’s a great facility with some amazing staff members! Can’t wait to visit you all again!

Good for groups with kids, not the best for quiet restful tent camping. Stayed at primitive tent site on a weekend. Prices were very affordable and staff very friendly. Site had picnic table and fire ring without a cooking grate. Primitive tent sites ~5 min walk from bathroom/shower, but port-a-johns closer. Quiet hours not enforced. You may want to request a tent site without any adjacent sites if you want to sleep before 2am.
