Poison Ivy on campsites, no washer or dryer, no games allowed, felt as if I was interrupting employees hang out session anytime we came around the shop or the patio, showers full of bugs, we stayed for 3 nights & all bathrooms were not cleaned for the entire time we were there, reeked of urine. Horrible experience.

Great place to camp, very family oriented, great trails, everyone is very welcoming. All around such a great place to be with my family (this is our second year camping, we will never go elsewhere)

Their pool wasn’t heated like they said it was,, their golf course was over grown,,, and their kayaking wasn’t open and they lied about giving us our deposit back. The lady literally said we would get our hundered back right at the cash register to our faces and it’s June 14 and after two weeks later of not getting it back now she’s saying we are only getting fifty? We took great care of the cabins and left it in perfect condition even though it was uncomfortable af. Never wasting my money to go back there again. I’d rather go to Mohican next time.

Just because they have river spots doesn’t mean it’s worth the trouble. Booking was easy, not having sewer hook ups in the 200 row wasn’t an issue for the weekend. Had water and eletric . Getting to the campground no issues, but do recommend 4x4 when it rains tho as the whole campground is a muddy mess. The road down to the 200s narrow a lot of ruts not a lot of area to pull over if someone is coming up. 🚩 Clay spots in the ground , sliding around when breaking or trying to get up 🚩 The sites okay seems to be decent amount of space . grass could have been mowed before arriving 🚩 Had a family member stop by to pick up my little one for the day and the office charged her $20 said it was for the amenities being used. (She drove down to the site gathered up a few of his belongings and left) she had trouble in her car getting up the hill (majority of her time spent trying to get up the hill rather than at my site) 🚩 We didn’t even use the pool or the store for anything. Used my own restroom. Leaving the campground was hell. I do have 4x4 and my travel trailer is 32ft not difficult to handle, well going up the hill with the little corner that is hell when it’s muddy they should have had fresh gravel down start of the year. 4low was fine the clay spot spun a little and a car coming down had to back all the way up bc there was NO room to get over and I couldn’t back all the way down hill. I highly suggest if you stay to take a golf cart or your vehicle down the hill and decent for yourself. Front desk told me park was full besides the 200 row I now know why! Driving around the park in the buggy I didn’t find it to be full, the pool looked decent, the store was dirty didn’t have much but had what you needed. Not extra. Peeping into the porta potty’s they looked cleaned didn’t have a nasty smell to them so once good thing going! I highly recommend getting your roads taken care of , keep up with the weeding and mowing specially if you have someone coming into that site. Fire places should be empty before hand as well too! Good luck to Thoses who do stay . Hope for a better outcome than what I experienced. Many other GREAT BETTER campgrounds in the area! And that photo is just one of sections of the “hill” you go down to the 200s

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We love to try different places and decided to try this campground out early May. We have been to many campgrounds in and out of state and this was by far the worst experience. We booked along the river despite the reviews of being able to get up the hill if it rains. When we checked in, I voiced my concern about the full rainy weekend we had ahead of us and camping down the hill. She stated..."You should be fine". She should have never let ANYONE proceed down the hill and should have offered another campsite at the top. We proceeded down the hill only to sink in the yard and our 2500 in 4 Low, could not get our ToyHauler out of the mud...twice. It took a large bobcat to help give us enough boost to get out of the hole we sunk into. Lesson Learned. DO NOT CAMP HERE IF IT RAINS. Let me give you our review other than being stuck within the first 5 minutes of getting to our site. Once able to get the Hell out of this campground, we did. No refund and hopefully they use our money and our friends money to get some gravel for their roads and campsites. We had 5 campers with our group and thank god we stopped 3 of them from even making the drive to this campground, and stopped the ones that showed up right behind us, from bringing their camper down the hill where they would have been stuck with us. 1. Almost all of the sites are grass, not gravel. 2. The hill to get to the river sites (200s) washes away when it rains, despite their crew that "fixes" it when it rains. On the way down the hill, the road was so washed out, I thought for sure we were going to lose our camper over the edge. 3. Most all of the roads back to the campground and down the hill are wide enough to get ONE camper. God help if another vehicle is coming the opposite direction. 4. The mosquito population was HORRIBLE. While standing outside talking with our friends that came down the hill to help us get out of the muddy mess we found ourselves in, 100s swarmed and bit us. There is not enough mosquito spray to keep you from getting carried away. 5. The outhouses were overrun with bugs and mosquitos that it was difficult to even use them. They would fly in your face and up your nose. 6. If you camp at the bottom, the sites are very large but bring extra long plug and water hose as you also share with your neighbor.
