I have been going to this campground for a few years to visit family. After getting our own trailer, there’s no place I’d rather park it than Campers Cove! Friendly staff and campers, clean grounds and washroom facilities, and lots of activities and oh so enjoyable to be at! Well worth the 2 hour drive!♥️

Americans beware. We came in on a Thursday and all was good. Friday morning we left with Canadian friends to visit Pelee Island for the day. When we returned I didn’t have any power to my motorhome. I then realized that my Progressive EMS was shutting off the power to the RV every few minutes due to low voltage (under 104 volts on both legs). This apparently stressed my inverter and blew it up. I talked to the owner that afternoon with the park’s security phone and he said “it only happens when people have a EMS.” The only way I could get power back on was to remove my EMS which really bothered me (no protection). After I returned home to SC I had my inverter checked and it was toast. $1,069.30 to replace it. I called the owner and was told he would call me back. After several weeks I realized he wasn’t going to call and I guess didn’t care about my cost after I also spend approx $100 a day for the site. So I would say be aware of the poor electricity (or the poor electricity (or how they call it). I would give less than a 1 star for the I know service if I could.

It is hidden gem! Campsites are well equipped, bathrooms and showers are clean. The place has direct access to the lake and unforgettable sunrises and sunsets! We will be back! The only downside is no wifi. I wish wifi could be available.

Campers Cove has been a camping staple in south western ontario for decades. It is a safe place for families to make memories that will last a life times. It is located to the town of Wheatley for convenience and you are a short drive for fresh fish as well as local fruits and veritables.
