Me and my family have been camping at Campers Cove for well over 30 years. Everything is neat and clean, the washrooms are unbelievably clean. In my many years of camping ive stayed at many campgrounds and none can compare to Campers Cove.

I visited family who have a seasonal trailer site here on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It was my first experience at this campground. I was very impressed with the ambience of the park and the amenities they have. The showers are amazing! The beach was awesome. The other campers were very friendly and relaxed. We wandered over to the overnight camping area and the sites are very roomy. I was greeted in a warm friendly way that makes a person want to come back. I understand now the difference between family owned and corporate owned. I also understand why there are waiting lists to come here for seasonal sites and why people in overnight areas book for the next year before they leave. Beautiful experience overall.

We drove 6hrs to reach this park. Couldn't be happier we did. Met a couple from Port Dover and was asked why we ventured so far. Told them it was about seeing variety Ontario has to offer. This is a well kept, well run park. Staff are efficient at cleaning sites. Beware of the Black Walnuts though, you'll need to clean your rig. Beautiful park and area.

Terrible campground run by terrible people, you're packed in with other campers like sardines, no space between the sites. We booked two cabins for three days, and then weeks later when we drove over an hour just to pay for them, we were told the cabins had accidentally been double-booked and that we had to take campsites. We were alright with this, as long as the campsites could be next to each other, and they told us that would be the case. We arrived to find our campsites were not next to each other, but diagonally apart. At every turn we have been treated badly, like our problems are an inconvenience, by staff. We were not allowed to rent any recreational vehicles because they claimed it was raining, when the rain had been just barely spitting for hours. The beach has no sand, only small pebbles, and is broken up into sections by steel girders. You will not have fun at campers cove. You will be treated badly at campers cove. As soon as they have your money they will give you so much misinformation it's ridiculous, and then only tell you when it's too late to do anything about it. Alongside a creep in a white security truck driving by as slow as possible with his headlights on, every 5 minutes, making it impossible to enjoy ourselves in the tiny little cramped area we had. Had a terrible time, will never come here again, and if you want to have fun you'd be better off just going into the middle of a forest somewhere.

Great place to camp! Sites are mostly shaded, very few bugs. Just not much of a sand bar on beach gets deep quick! But a lot of fun with the big waves crashing shore.
