It looked like a nice spot and I get that they have policies but the other camping I had booked the night before cancelled on us because of flooding due to the extreme rain. Without any discussion they told me over and over about their policy. No offer to reschedule or anything. The person was just rude and not understanding of the situation at all.

It has become a tradition for us to camp at Amqui once a year. Beautiful camping surrounded by a huge and beautiful lake (matapedia). There are activities on the camping ground for everyone, in town or near as well. The only thing less fun are the prices for kayak and the train sound at night or early morning. They sell wood on the spot. Theres a very nice ice cream shop just the other side of the main road in front of the entrance. If you tour the new brunswick and go back to quebec after, I'D recommand at least one night there.

Great spot! Very clean and maintained. This place has everything you need even local spots, pubs n resto's to check out, also the staff was great and manager was super acommadating and understanding. I'd definitely come back!

Best camping ive ever seen.. Free showers, kayak paddle bords rental on the site, super clean, heated pool, nice views all around, definitely recommend, the manager is super helpful and accomodating.
