At first it seemed okay. I mean, the bathrooms are amazing. But we booked this campsite, only to see (when we booked, i looked for the same rule page online, harder to find than others), hidden in the long french sheet of rules, 'only one accommodation per site'. No warning when booking it. My eldest daughter had to sleep in the car to make space for the dog, three other kids, my husband, and I. Her tent was tiny, but it still wasn't allowed. There was a fire ban due to the drought, so we went to the front desk to complain. It took at least half an hour for them to extinguish the fire, and the next day, the same people were doing it again. If this and the slightly passive aggressive doesn't bother you, know that the river is murky. Shower right after. Dogs also have a small section of the beach. I'd prefer if it was bigger so we could have put our energetic dog on a slightly longer leash. Lets not to mention all the untrained dogs you allowed on the sight terrified her, barking and growling at our rescue dog. Edit: I forgot how open it is. No privacy. We also struggled fitting out trailer into the pitch.

We've been to this campsite three times and this was the worst time. The sites are noticeably smaller and crammed in than before (there is an old map that clearly shows site that were once for one are now for two). There was no privacy, with people immediately behind us and to our side. Our site had many tree roots / trunks and was small. Although the toilets and showers were very clean, a dollar for 7 mins is a bit steep. Our daughter came for the night and since it was a bit of a squeeze in the pop-up, we set up a small one-man tent. We were told to take it down, that there is only one sleeping facility allowed per site. There was no flexibility on this. We questioned and they said they 'family sites' but a drive around showed that other people had 2 small tents together in small sites and there were many gazebos, sheds and bars for the seasonal campers. It was very noisy at night, people were still up at 12.40am last night and nothing was done.

What a great campground. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because I’m picky and always want a campground like this but with big secluded lots. We camped right on the river which was great to float down on hot summer days. The staff at the front desk are super helpful and nice. One of the ladies even shared her personal propane tank for a night until I could get mine filled. Everything was clean and well kept. Lots for the kids to do - river, beach, pool, pickle ball, basketball, arcade, playgrounds.

Enjoyed the campground. Friendly people. Lazy river circles 2/3 of the campground. Perfect for tubing by Sandy Beach. Clean bathrooms. One dollar for showers.

We booked this campsite as a family, and do to unfforseen circumstances we had to cancel. I sent an email within the 7 days cancellation period, unfortunately I replied to their confirmation message which was not an address I was suppose to write back to. I hadn't noticed because I never got a bounce back email or a message asking me not to write to this address. Anyways, I just called them to make sure they got my email and of course they hadn't. I asked them to show me some sympathy seeing as my intention was to do what was suppose to be done in the time frame allotted. They were very direct in telling me that 2 nights will be taken regardless, and it was my error. When I asked why they couldn't reimburse me, they informed me that they may not be able to rent it now seeing as it's so close to the date. I told them that I may have someone to take the lot over for me and again, they said no, it had to be me. In my opinion, this is awful customer service. I did in fact try and cancel, I could have even sent them a screen shot of the email I had sent with the date. A company who isn't willing to bend a little is not worth my time, definitely not my money. Very unfortunate.
