Very lovely place to camp. It's 15 min away from the old Quebec, 20-30 min from jaque Cartier national Park. Very clean property.

I stayed two nights at the campground, and as a frequent camper I can say that this is one of the nicest facilities I've visited. The bathroom was very well-kept and clean and the office had a lot of nice perks: laundry, grocery, a library. Very professional and helpful staff, and a reasonably-priced shuttle service into Quebec City. Everything was top notch! Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic stay at Camping De La Joie from August 24–28, 2025! The campground is extremely clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and bilingual (English & French), which made everything smooth and welcoming. The entire site was so clean. The bathrooms/showers were spotless, and we even saw an employee on their hands and knees scrubbing them—true dedication to cleanliness!! The shuttle service to Old Quebec was a game-changer—$10 per person both ways. Super convenient and totally took the stress out of driving and finding parking in the very cramped streets. Highly recommend using it! Heads up: the road into your site can be quite steep, but the campsites themselves are perfectly leveled and exceptionally well-maintained If you're considering where to camp near Quebec City—book here and you won't be disappointed!

Camping became our family bonding every summer, but it was our first time to go out of the province. Our stay at Camp de la Joie was great; all the staff were welcoming, even though we are not French speakers. The place was well-maintained, and the other campers were nice too. Camp de la Joie made exploring Quebec City easy and enjoyable. For sure, we will come back to this place.

Great Location to Old Quebec City (approx, 25 minutes) and to Montmorency Falls & bridge to Ile d'Orleans (20 minutes). Enjoyed the campground,.. clean, lovely, the playgrounds for kids were really pretty ,and the staff were very nice. Their English was great and very appreciated, as my French isn't as good as it should be. I highly recommend this RV/campground for those wanting to sight see Quebec City and area. We didn't use the shuttle service available. We googled parking areas and had no issues finding spots for about $26/day; but we were here in mid June b4 the busy season.

Great place! Would give 5 stars if it weren't for very narrow streets. Lots are narrow and tightly packed. Staff are friendly and accomodating. The place is clean and well maintain. Quiet and calm area but still close to downtown. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this camping site! Not too big. Great sites with many fully serviced. We encountered very nice and friendly neighbours as well. We will definitely consider returning.

We stayed here one night, lot 130. First the pros: - It was really organized. They gave us a card to come and go through the gate freely, 24 hours a day, and everything was pretty clearly laid out. - The campground overall is nice. The pool seems nice, but we didn't get to use it because it was already closed when we arrived. - Really close to the city, the aquarium, and the falls. Cons: - The sites with electricity and water are crammed together. There was nothing between us and the two lots beside us but a small row of rocks. No privacy whatsoever. And when the people from the lots behind us arrived, their headlights shone straight into our tent at eye level. Babies crying at 5AM. People blowing their noses and coughing. We were close enough to so many people that we could hear it all. And when we woke up early, it was pretty stressful to try not to bother our sleeping neighbours. Camping gear isn't quiet. - Sand on the campsite. It gets everywhere. It's such a weird medium to camp on in the woods. Pegging the tent wasn't too hard though. - Spigot on our lot drained into our tent area. - Bathroom cleanliness is spotty. The first evening, the bathrooms were really clean. The next morning, however... I guess campers are especially gross? I don't know. - But the worst part, I think, was the smoke. Because we're all crammed together, the smoke gets out of hand. We didn't have a camp fire, but we left smelling like we lived in one. And in spite of the curfew being 11, breezes brought thick smoke into our tent well past midnight.

Excellent camping…staff was amazing sites are clean all the amenities tip top shape including the heated pool…depending on what you are pulling some sites would be pretty tight…entire campground is on a giant hill…really hard to bike around with kids…stones throw to the city!
