We stayed for two nights in the fall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and each campsite offers a bit of privacy. The nature is amazing — a beautiful lake and colorful mountains all around. There are lots of walking and biking paths, but some facilities are outdated. The toilets are old, and the arcade room is not free like at other campgrounds I’ve visited, plus it was quite dusty.

1. Our pull-through site (25) was supposed to be large enough for a 30 ft trailer but it took a lot of maneuvering to get in and out with tight road access and a hydro pole. That site should be for under 25 ft 2. The website advertises a dog beach... A 20'x10' area of sand in the sun is not a beach if there's no water access for dogs... Dogs are not allowed in the lake at all!! Extremely disappointed. 3. Half of the trails in the park were closed. 4. Proximity to the P'tit Train du Nord trail was wonderful. 5. The whole park was clean and pretty well maintained.

This campsite is an interesting place, but isn't the best kind of interesting. You need wristbands - which were not enforced; the facilities were very dated and small and some site are downright tiny. On most nights, we can hear the very busy 117 nearby - and getting out of there is downright dangerous. some of the floating yurts were very visibly crooked. some tent sites require going up some stairs, but for the most part it looked like it gave a good view. On the upside, the lake itself is very beautiful and shallow - you can walk across most of it. It was not cold nor too warm - perfect to cool off and have some fun. There is a chip stand and ice cream parlor, with not bad prices. Most of the site is fairly level but are just dirt roads. Got plenty of cycling in - and there is a freshly paved trail that passes at the entrance. A few very nice walking trails are also available. Staff were friendly and helped us when the site turned out to be much too small for us. They have on site security, but only at night. We didn't hear from them and they just did regular patrols. There were some extra activities on the weekend and things to do. Overall, its a mixed bad - don't expect luxury but in a RV it works when you can fit it in the spot.

Awesome spot for bike packing. You do not need to make a reservation. They have sites reserved at the front of the campground just for bike Packers and they are not separate sites it's just one big group site. I was told there is always space, and it is very cheap and you don't need to book in advance you just show up. Huge bonus that you don't have to book in advance and there will be room for you and also that it is cheap. Also that if I default you will be camping with other like-minded bike Packers which is really fun. You have access to the whole campground which has paid showers potable water and a beach. The only downside is that this site is directly next to the entrance so there is a little bit of vehicle noise and light pollution in the night but it was totally worth it and we didn't find it very bothersome as not many people seem to be going in and out. Highly recommended!!

We recently stayed at Camping Domaine Lausanne and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. First off, the ready-to-camp units came with filthy dishes—clearly not cleaned or checked before arrival. The overall facilities were not equipped to handle the volume of campers onsite; bathrooms and showers were consistently dirty and poorly maintained. Even one of the cleaning staff told us they wouldn’t return next season because of how unsanitary the conditions are. That said, the location itself is beautiful, and it’s nice to have on-site services like a casse-croûte and an ice cream stand. We also enjoyed a live musician during our stay, which added a nice touch. However, for the price they charge, the value simply isn’t there. It’s extremely overpriced considering the lack of cleanliness and overcrowded facilities. All in all, it’s a great setting with poor execution. Definitely not somewhere we’d return unless major improvements are made.

Great place. Sites are close together but all in all would recommend. Only downside is you're not allowed to bring outside wood

It's our first time here and we've discovered a little piece of paradise! We stayed in a small cabin that was just perfect for sleeping; equipped w A/C, a bunk bed, a queen size and a mini fridge! We also fronted on a small private beach that had a slow slope and sandy bottom; perfect for the kids. The main beach area is beautiful and we absolutely LOVED the convenience of renting kayaks and paddle boards at a very low cost. The whole campground is well maintained and very friendly. My only area of feedback would be that the majority of the sites near the water and beach are smaller and not super private. We were located on the main road and it was a higher traffic area. We can't wait to come back and try another site. Choosing the cabin saved us bringing and installing a tent as well as kept our food cool! We highly recommend! Ps: there's even a super delicious food truck!
