Camping sites are difficult to access and management will be complaining on you all the time for ridiculous reasons (your fire smokes too much or your dog barks too loud). We’ve faced electricity shortages during the stay at freezing temperatures. Better off staying home.

Was just here for a breakfast stop at the café “Les Crépes de France.” Had their Egg-and-Cheese crépe alongside a nice warming cup of tea. Delicious way to start the day with a great view of the Pinnacle across the way. They also have a corner with locally-made merch, including warm ponchos perfect for when you are sitting around a campfire.

I have been going twice a year to Camping du lac Lyster for the past 4 years now. Each year I have seen noticeable improvements to the site, which shows me that the management is passionate about the place, from new bathroom/showers, new cabins, and the best part the Creperie / Cafe at the entrance. The crepes are to die for! The campsites are all nestled on the mountain in the forest, creating a private and quiet experience. I've had the pleasure of camping in my own tent, and have experienced camping in the Mini-chalets, and each time I leave wanting to stay longer : )

I've been to Camping du Lac Lyster twice this year and I'm in love with this place. The first time we used our tent and we had a nice quiet and private lot with close proximity to bathrooms. The 2nd time we stayed in a cabin (J10) and it was so charming and romantic. It had an indoor bathroom with sink, which was very convenient. Out back there was an attached covered kitchen and it was fully stocked. The firepit area has a bbq and Adirondack chairs perfect to star gaze while listening to the frogs and the mystical call of the loons. For breakfast or an afternoon snack you can walk down to the Acceuil and the Crêperie de France for some delicious crêpes, coffee or some Coaticook ice-cream. (I'm still craving those crêpes). There are a few activities you can do. If you like nature trails/hikes there's Mont Pinacle, with a short drive away, that offers you breathtaking views of Lac Lyster and the valley below. And a quick walk from the camp there's Mont Seguin, where the views are equally as breathtaking with the view of Lac Lyster and Mont Pinacle. Camping du Lac Lyster has a private beach with access to kayaks and paddle boards. You can also explore the surrounding towns or visit Coaticook ice-cream store. Overall, Camping du Lac Lyster offers a quiet escape for nature lovers. The team here was awesome! They were ready to help you in any way. I'm looking forward to book again

The camp site is beautiful and really exactly what we were looking for. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions. Unfortunately there was / is construction DIRECTLY beside our site we were not aware of (site f22) and were awoken at a little before 6 am to someone hammering wood. We cut our trip early since I didn’t want a repeat the next morning.
