Worst camping experience ever. They put up a fire ban and did not notify any of us, a large group. They leave the responsibility of staying informed with the clients and at the same time, do not allow refundable cancellations the days before the event. So basically they can put up a fire ban two days before, not inform you, and not allow cancellations. This is the most ridiculous policy when it comes to such services. Lodging a complaint is also useless as they parrot back their stupid policies. The campsite itself was small for a group of 6 and park rangers were extremely annoying. They issued a warning to us at 9:15pm asking us to be quieter (the curfew starts at 11pm), and asked us to keep our headlights down because people are watching the stars 500 meters away. Needless to say, we will not return and do not recommend this campsite to anyone.

We really enjoyed our day here. There are different camping options, including traditional camping and “ready-to-camp” tents. The ready-to-camp units are quite basic, they include a small refrigerator, some heating, and cooking equipment with utensils, but remember, it’s still a tent, not a cabin. We visited at the beginning of summer, and the nights were still cold. The heaters take a while to warm things up, so I recommend arriving early in the afternoon to get settled. The campsite has bathrooms and showers, and the visitor center (open from 9 to 5) provides equipment rentals as well as a very weak Wi-Fi connection. For most of the last 40 minutes of the drive, you’ll have no cell service, so it’s smart to download an offline map in advance. Surrounded by lakes and nature, this is a great place to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a mix of comfort and wilderness.

I liked this campsite. But it depends on what you expect. I've been lucky, and there were not many campers during my stay. The washroom and showers were clean, with plenty of hot water. No need to pay for the shower, unlike other Sepaq sites. Pros: Nice area with two easy hikes, a loop around the lake 7km and a loop at the other side of the lake (the last one has nice viewpoints). Lovely lake for the SUP or canoe. Campsites are located so you can have privacy. Plenty of shadows from the trees. Wild animals to watch: we have seen two foxes, raccoons, snakes, toads, and birds. Cons: a lot of mosquitoes and black flies (second week of July), mice are at the ready-to-camp tents at night. No beach (couple of tables on the shore, that's all)

Rangers at this park are very annoying to deal with. Me and my friends were just sitting around the camp fire enjoying some story’s and the ranger came up to us to issue a warning… At 9:30pm the ranger claimed we were being too loud, even though none of us had raised our voices… might I add the site states we can talk, cook, enjoy a camp fire… etc until 11pm so it caught us off guard when even though we were abiding by the camp policies, they still issued us a warning. The next day they gave us a warning again, even though none of them had come over to speak with us and told us that we were on our last straw… Again, even though we were following the parks rules. Throughout the entire trip One of the two bathrooms they offer was completely out of service and so we had to walk 20 minutes to go to the bathroom each time. I tested the clean drinking water they stated they had at the park and it was Not filtered and not safe to drink. Campsites were way too close together… Playground for children was completely rundown… and much more… Would never go to this campgrounds again.

Nice campground. Lots of shade during the summer and the trees are amazingly colourful during the fall. There's a small playground and gear rental shack that also sells some snacks. The toilets and showers were very clean, and my family enjoys stargazing from the clearing behind the rental shack at night since the skies are so clear.
