Well kept secret! This campsite has just reopened after several years. The pitches are very large and intimate. Wooded but sunny lots (given the size). Offer of 3, 2 or without services. The employees are friendly. Old-fashioned toilet block, but clean. Note that there are no services within a 30-minute drive (gasoline, convenience store, wood, etc.); you have to plan ahead before settling in. No view of the river or the river, but we still have the sound of the waves to rock us in the evening. The starry sky is magnificent because no big spot on the campsite and no light pollution nearby. Access to the river and the river for SUP or kayak enthusiasts from the campsite by a small path. This place is really to be discovered!

Courteous receptionist, toilet block obviously clean since the campsite is empty. Campsite which would have been bought. I'm sure the campsite would be a lot fuller if there was less effort from the owner. First, the Google phone number is not the right one ... No firewood to sell, no emergency food (milk, bread, water) knowing that there is no convenience store and grocery store in Godbout. The nearest convenience store is 35 km away. Presence of an obsolete playpen for children where the swings have been forgotten to be placed.

This campsite has just been bought by the city. The people are polite and the service is impeccable! A short walk along the river for about 5 to 10 minutes and you have reached the point! There were several free 2 and 3 service places.

Summer 2021. Very nice place, quiet and very clean. Very warm welcome. Salmon river near the campsite.

The campsite is open to passing campers this year! There are mostly 2 and 3 service pitches, but also a few unserviced tent pitches. During our visit, there were few people at the campsite, so no waiting at the toilets and showers (there are a lot!). The site is clean and there are a lot of trees, but there is no view of the river or the river.
