Camping La Cle des Champs
Overview
Overview
Situated in Saint-Philippe, QC, Camping La Cle des Champs offers a distinct accommodation option for travelers navigating the Montérégie administrative region of southwestern Quebec. This property places visitors within reach of both agricultural flatlands and the bustling urban corridors near Montreal, delivering a regional base that blends rural tranquility with accessible transportation routes across the Saint Lawrence lowlands.
Location & Surroundings
Approaching via regional highways such as Route 15 or Route 30, visitors encounter a landscape dominated by the agricultural fields, flat terrain, and rolling plains characteristic of the greater Montreal fringe. The local climate features warm summers and cold, snowy winters, typical of southern Quebec. Seasonal weather shifts dictate travel windows, making late spring through early autumn the primary timeframe for outdoor excursions in this part of the province.
Amenities & Park Features
Because property-specific details are not explicitly detailed in the name, travelers should contact management directly to verify utility configurations. When planning your stay at Camping La Cle des Champs, inquire specifically about essential operational details:
- Site dimensions and surface types
- Electrical and water hookup availability
- Seasonal operating dates and local quiet hours
- On-site sanitation station access
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The surrounding region provides access to notable destinations within a short drive. Visitors can explore the historic streets of nearby La Prairie or venture north toward the Saint Lawrence River for waterfront views and boating access. Cycling enthusiasts frequently utilize the extensive Route Verte network running through the Montérégie area, while day trips into downtown Montreal offer world-class museums, dining, and historical sites less than an hour away.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination suits road-trippers and regional explorers looking to experience the dual character of southern Quebec. It appeals particularly to travelers seeking a quieter base outside of Montreal while remaining close enough for urban sightseeing. Montérégie road-trippers and visitors prioritizing regional transit access over resort-style bells and whistles will find this location aligns well with an itinerary focused on local exploration.

Very clean, neat and tidy RV park, convenient water, power and even septic at the site, with a campfire bricked in pit. Staff were very friendly & helpful and they have wifi available also. We were there in the off season, late October, but it was a great spot all the same. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful RV Park. Great location too. The owners do a great job of keeping this park clean and well maintained. It is, by far, one of the most pristine & loveliest parks that we’ve ever seen. We especially loved the landscape & originality of each site. Lots of great facilities & opportunities to mingle too. I can’t say enough & hope to visit this amazing RV park again, the next time we’re in Québec. Thank you so much La Cle des Champs. You are the B-E-ST!!!

It's a luxury park that is quite well maintained. Friendly people here. There are some nice amenities and accessories. Nice to have solid 50 amps. Wifi (I used their ethernet) is quite fast. It's expensive, but I stayed for a month and they offered a very good price that made the stay affordable for me. It's located fairly close to the REM Brossard for reasonable access to Montreal. I recommend highly.

A perfect campground to stay at during race weekend. The owners are attentive and kind. Tge place is gorgeous. The pool has yet to be open in early June. But looks great. Mostly permanent rvs. The place is clean, friendly and spaces are large.

We booked online. They speak both English and French. They called when we were an hour from check-in and left late check-in instructions for us. They were kind and helpful as to where to get firewood and wine. We lit a fire and had wonderful conversations with guests whose properties are used year-round and maintained immaculately. We used some Off to combat the mosquitos. Other than that, it was idyllic.
