Only gets 2 stars because the site are actually pretty well organized and private but the check in process was ridiculously painful.. The lady at the counter took forever to check people in (we sat there over 30 mins for her to serve 1 couple) not eye contact, no acknowledgement that we were there, no directions whatsoever. The magnetic card deposit is the weirdest thing I ever heard, if you're not gonna give people cards change the thing to a pin pad or remove the gate 🤦‍♂️ . She was like are you going anywhere tonight? What does it matter? I'd like to have the option 🙄 .

Ontario English speaking travellers wandering through Quebec haha! Another example of a well kept Municipal Park. The front gate attendants were excellent and helpful. Nice sites, a park for the kids, excellent facilities. We had a great stay. A cool night with the ocean breeze. It's a very unique spot. Highly recommend you try it and explore the local community. We will definately be back

Beautiful setting in the valley, with mountains towering over it. Spacious sites with privacy. We had site 105 with electricity, water and dump. One drawback: trail along the river is too woodsy and doesn’t give easy river access. Not cheap at C$54 but worth ot.

This is a great campground, situated at the base of several mountains and along the St. Pierre river. The sites were fairly spacious and private, washrooms were extremely clean, firewood was dry and plentifully bundled. There was a great setup for kids, play structure, large bouncy pad and I think a splash pad as well. Gaspesie National Park is also down the road so great hiking nearby.

A very beautiful, clean, well maintained and quiet campsite. It was the perfect spot to camp and go on some amazing motorcycle rides. We had originally intended to camp closer to Gaspe but we ended up being much happier with this location.
