The view/beach is exceptional, except no one mentions a train passing in the middle of the night, which is literally almost on the campsite, passes about 3 times between 11pm and 4am. We also hear the highway very well. Cars passing all night. Not very quiet and relaxing.

I would give 3.5 stars if that were possible. This place has its positives and negatives. The positives are that the water is nice, it's a nice sandy beach and the have some shelters set up so you can get some shade. Negatives are that it's very crowded, there are a lot of people smoking on the beach and you have to pay a fee to access the beach. The national park across the lake had much nicer beaches if you're going to pay.

The lots are very well situated and you can't see or hear your neighbors, but sadly that's about the only good thing about it. It's absolutely infested with mosquitoes, and they're so voracious even DEET doesn't keep them away. The showers are tiny, dirty, the floors muddy and there's no shower mats. And the worst thing is, you can hear the highway, and there's a train that passes by around 3am and loudly blares its horn

Great spot on lack St Jean. Our spot was fairly private with trees. Short walk to the beach. The beach is spectacular with lifeguard as far as you can see. Playground for kids. Proprietors are very friendly and accommodating . 3 amenities on lot; 50 amp electricity, water and sewer hookup $56
