Camping Plage Paris

Overview

Camping Plage Paris is a premier family destination located in the heart of the Centre-du-Québec region. This park is centered around its expansive artificial lake and sandy beach, creating a resort-style atmosphere that feels like a classic summer getaway. Known for its vibrant energy and extensive recreation, it offers a blend of natural relaxation and high-energy water activities for RVers seeking a social and active environment during the warmer months. The park is designed to feel like a self-contained vacation spot where everything is within reach.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the quiet municipality of Sainte-Sophie-de-Lévrard, the park is nestled within a scenic landscape defined by rolling farmland and rural charm. While the surrounding area is peaceful and pastoral, the park itself serves as a bustling hub of activity for the community. Travelers will appreciate the proximity to the St. Lawrence River, which provides additional scenic vistas and coastal drives just a short distance from the campground, offering a perfect balance of country living and aquatic fun.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is well-equipped for modern RVers, offering sites with full 3-service hookups including water, sewer, and electricity to accommodate various rig sizes. The centerpiece of the amenity package is the impressive aquatic complex, featuring multiple water slides and a pirate-themed splash pad for children of all ages. Beyond the water, guests can enjoy a game of mini-golf, utilize the well-maintained playgrounds, or gather at the community hall for seasonal organized events that foster a friendly neighborhood atmosphere.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

For those looking to explore beyond the beach, the Parc de la rivière Gentilly is a nearby highlight, offering miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking through lush forests. History enthusiasts can visit the Moulin Michel de Gentilly, a historic flour mill that showcases local heritage and offers guided tours. The region is also famous for its agritourism, allowing visitors to stop at local cheese shops and farm stands to sample authentic Quebecois flavors and fresh produce directly from the source.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination is ideal for families with children who want a resort feel where the activities are all within walking distance of their site. Because of the extensive water park features and high-energy atmosphere, it is best suited for travelers who enjoy a lively, community-focused environment rather than a secluded or rustic retreat. If you are reading these reviews and see the negative comments, they are from people who have been expelled from the campground, and it is very shameful to write such bad reviews for such very kind owners. The camground itself is beautiful. It's quiet with so many beautiful trees, 3 amazing water places in which to cool off and one with a sprinkler/fountain! It looks like a tropical paradise. It's beautiful! This is a beautiful campground with lots of facilities, including the very thoughtful thing to have a dog wash! The little store is very well equipped with many different things as well. This is well worth the visit. I have never seen a campground so beautiful! If you are coming with a family, there are lots of things for the children to do in the playground as well. I highly recommend coming here. You won't regret it!!!

My stay here was actually couple of years ago. I came across this now as looking for campsite again this summer. I had a good laugh reading the reviews finally knowing we were not alone! Had rented this site staying for 2 weeks for horseshow for my teen daughter. After first week I was switching off with my husband but I guess the sheet I signed (in French which i didn’t understand) I should have listed him. It was still 2 people - but Dad there not Mom. When he arrived he was not allowed to enter the Park - despite they 100% knew my daughter. Would not even allow them in to enter and get their belongings -all of her riding gear was in the trailer we had rented from RV Ezy. We actually had to call the police after hours of arguing (who laughed and told us they are well aware of these insane owners who use them to remove people constantly) So there was my husband and daughter at midnight finally being escorted to the trailer to remove their belongings and having to find a motel room. Absolutely horrible way to treat customers and now I see we were not the only ones. It’s almost unbelievable really -known a tourism company myself and literally blows my mind they are still open. Also they were screaming at us the whole visit -the first time was because I wore my crocs into the pool area -again couldn’t read the sign and fair enough let me know but it’s like screaming and chasing you ….then they accused me and daughter of promoting pornography lol. I was taking photo of my 18 year old daughter in a bikini (granted it shows a lot of butt cheek but don’t most now a days) I was taking photos of her by the waterfall in pool and the owner came to tell us we were promoting pornography in front of the children. Like I’m taking pornographic pictures for my daughters Instagram. They have some serious issues but having to contact the police to collect our own belongings because Dad replaced Mom at the camper is 100% crazy
