Very beautiful when you are near the river but can also be very danherous when you wear mountain bike clips.

I cannot comment about the campground since we visited it to hike but i can say that our 2 hours hike following the river was wonderful. It can be challenging at times since some of the trails are extremely steep but definitely worth it as the waterfall and view from the many belvederes are breathtaking.

not a real camping...more like a city mini version ..it feels business..it feels city..could work for some but ..... mostly big rig trailers..and all with extra commodities...not sure what's the point to leave city to go to another city...

Beautiful campsite with very reasonable sized pitches. The site was very clean and the staff welcoming. Land with and without services, some of which are along the river. They offer a discount for the village of Val-Jalbert.

Beautiful campsite with the river running through it, huge grounds, cycle path nearby. On the other hand, we were very disappointed to see that the swimming pool was closed (although it is over 30 ° all weekend) ...

For the price, it didn't meet our expectations at all. 86.46 in total for two nights, on a site without services. For starters, the sites are so close to each other that it feels like walking on each other's grounds to get to the toilet block. No privacy. In addition, the majority of sites have no level space, which is very uncomfortable for a tent. There was garbage on our property when we arrived. As for the sanitary block, it was not washed once during our stay. The sanitation leaves much to be desired. The wood that was sold to us there was rotten. It burned badly and smelled badly. It seemed to us that this was a problem for other vacationers, the same smell emanated from their sites. The location is super pretty, with the river running right through it, but there are tons of such beautiful places in Quebec where we pay less for a better experience.

Very nice place, clean, spacios, pool, close to the "Village Fantome" for wich you get a discount if camping in Val Jalbert. If we would'nt live so far away we would've camped there more often. Definetly will go back some day.
