Stayed for two nights on a non-event weekend. Easy on-line registration, reasonable price and easy access to the campground off I-85 and Bruton Smith Blvd. Long, wide, spacious, clean, level spaces, with full hookups and vinyl fence sections between each space. (All gravel - no grass or trees.) Convenient to Concord Mills Mall, restaurants, highway access, next to Camping World, twenty minutes to Uptown Charlotte, and walking distance to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Note: From Bruton Smith Blvd., turn in at the BIG, TALL sign for Z-MAX Dragway and then turn right into the campground. Google Maps took us right to it, but we almost turned into Camping World by mistake. (It's next door right before the dragway and the RVs there make it look like a campground.) Then we weren't sure about turning in at the entrance to the dragway, because there's no obvious sign for the campground.

Love the drags, but how can you justify charging 200. to camp in a dry, dusty, unmoved field. Then for the whole campground there was 6 porta johns. Your bout to outprice NASCAR, that's why we started going to the drags, we could afford NASCAR. please don't have us quit the drags also.

When I plan my weekends around racing, there's no reason to look for accommodations elsewhere. There's no worries about being a solo female camper, and the staff at the entrance is always personable and welcoming. I come out 5x a year, and would do more if there were more racing events. The crews that maintain the showers/restrooms are always working to keep it clean for us. There's even an Amazon locker in site in case you forgot something at home (which I've done far too often).

We've stayed here twice during non-event times. I would imagine it gets busy for a major race. The sites are level, gravel & well-maintained. The interior roads are asphalt. The office staff is very friendly and effective. The picnic pavilion and pickleball courts behind the office are nice amenities, as is the large fenced dog park. If your stay includes visiting downtown Charlotte, be prepared for crazy traffic (and drivers) much of the day. It could take 30 minutes to get downtown. As an alternative route, US-29 seems a bit more sane although it might take more time. Restaurants, shopping and fuel are just minutes away.

Other than on a race weekend, the park is very quiet. The sites are long if you need it, they’ll give you two sites for the price of one usually and it’s got a lot of stuff around it. If you need it, we will be back in Charlotte in about 30 days and will be staying there again. It is definitely one of our regular stops when we’re in the area.

This campground is fantastic. Spacious, clean and quiet. We stayed with no major events at the speedway. It has a picnic table at each site. Dog parks and playgrounds available. Price is reasonable. Staff is friendly. Would stay here again, for sure.

We love using this place as our first stop over on the way to Florida. So convenient and they work with you that day or the next morning. Also we have camped there for a week or more during race season. We just love it. The area has lots to do plus I like to walk and we have a campfire every night.

We were staying here to get some work done for our RV. The price was great and the site was level. The bath house is located pretty far. The office staff were so nice and friendly. They let us work in the office with our tow cats while waiting for our RV.

Great RV park on the off season. Great value! Quiet during the off season when no racing is going on.

Nice facilities. Our water pressure was very low. Other than that, everything was fine. Mind you there's no racing now so prepare that of its in season.
