My husband got a job here in Alabama we came from Indiana when we first seen and started staying in the end of 2024-threw October 2025 the Candy Mountain RV site we was at first like um no than the owners are very good at “fake” talking and giving you numerous stories but that they planned on getting the RV resort looking better it was just a slow process due to some legal issues and how they are all about “FAMILY” atmosphere 😂 well me and my husband was there almost a year my husband cleaned out the whole middle between our camper and another because it was just weeds and trash I planted flowers and made sure to always have our area cleaned but what they fail to tell you is that they have a “click” of people and if ur not in it than you are not treated equally it is literally nothing but she said he said like being back in high school than the ponds that we was told we could use got switched to only the public one because they wanted to build for themselves where the other is they half ass everything our electrical cord literally caught on fire and we had to pay when it was due to the wiring in there electrical box we’ll come to find out none of it has been redone in years and what is being done now is being done illegal it is being put in the ground with no protection around the wiring and barley going deep into the ground but where it will be checked legally will be done correctly 🤔 if you have a problem with someone you are told to deal with it they don’t want the stress but say they want to run a business that they don’t even fully own!! So if you choose this RV park there is some amazing people there but the owners are the fakest people I’ve ever met but are damn good at making you believe them. So beware of that the wiring the sewage 80% of the time the electric or water goes off and the laundry room has mold in the ceiling plus she can’t even keep cleaning stuff in there because people still it!! Yes it’s cheap rent for now she had told me it is going up but that is not worth being segregated for no reason not knowing if you can even do laundry have water or electric and don’t even bother trying to reach them after 8pm because they shut there phones off what kind of people trying to run a company isn’t there 24/7 for the tenants?!? Besides the ones that prefer to go buy $80,000 boats or pamper there self’s and that’s exactly what you will get at this RV not the FAMILY like they try to convince you of……and there is no swimming pool or shower house

I have only been here since August but I love it here. New owners/managers are the best. Friendly neighbors that welcome you in. Greg and Annie work in the park daily, its looking great. No pool yet but hope its coming by next summer. I plan to be here a while. They have set up a little hangout spot to cookout and just hang out like a family.

We have been here 2 nights now. The old reviews should not even be up here. The park is under new management. Greg is on his tractor daily making things nice and cleaning things up. He immediately used the leaf blower to make our site clean and changed our our box from 50amp to 30amp. His wife Annie is also making everyone feel welcoming and trying to build a small community here to call home. Barry the maintenance man is always helping Greg doing odd jobs and was weed eating and cleaning up stuff today. The ponds are suitable to fish but not to swim. This place is a RV park but has a camping feel and environment. I see many good things to come. They allow campfires.

I'm sorry for anyone who has to use the restroom. Mold in shower and by toilet. Toilet base is broken. I had to stay one night, storm took out power. No WIFI and very bad phone sign.
