It was a good rental and they had nice canoes. You might want to take your own kayaks though because theirs are beat up from other people being very hard on them. The ride on the river was ok, it took us all of five hours to do it

We went kayaking and had an amazing time! The scenery was absolutely beautiful and there were lots of places to stop and rest and grab a snack. We will definitely go back every chance we get!

Closed due to high waters and did not inform the people that made reservations ahead of schedule. Drove from Baton Rouge for no reason. I was offered free future rentals as compensation but not sure if it makes up for the wasted time on someone's birthday. I am sure it's a great experience. I figured calling ahead to make reservations was enough. Call the day of to confirm before you head to the location.

It was busy when we got there but everyone was helpful and freindly. We stayed in a cabin for two nights there wasn't much storage space but we made it work. The place is just absolutely gorgeous and such a peaceful place. We went floating our second day there and there was several places to stop and swim. If you love nature then this is a great place to visit. I will be going back.

We spent two nights here, pretty park, rustic, all rv sites are full hookup most with 50 amp $30. Primitive sites are $6 per person. They also rent cabins. They shuttled us and our kayaks for $15 per person. They rent canoes, kayaks and tubes. Staff is friendly. We camped here early in the season and we were the only campers in the park. If the park was full the campsites were pretty close together. We will stay here again.
