Overview

Canton Creek RV Park offers a modern and peaceful retreat in the heart of East Texas. Located near the community of Wills Point, this park provides a clean, well-maintained environment for travelers looking to escape the bustle of the metroplex. It combines a serene rural atmosphere with the convenience of being just minutes away from major local events and shopping hubs. Location & Surroundings

Situated in Van Zandt County, the park sits in a prime location between the towns of Wills Point and Canton. The landscape is characterized by open skies and the quiet charm of the Texas countryside. Travelers will appreciate the easy access to Highway 64, which is a major artery for those traveling through the region, while the park remains far enough from the road to maintain a quiet environment. The surrounding area is dotted with small farms and ranch land, offering a true East Texas experience for those who enjoy nature and the beauty of open spaces.

The park is built with modern RV needs in mind, featuring full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service at every site. Many of the pads are spacious and leveled, providing plenty of room for large slide-outs and comfortable outdoor patio setups. Guests have access to essential facilities including a climate-controlled laundry room and private, modern shower houses. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the grounds, which is a significant plus for remote workers or those wanting to stream entertainment. The park is also pet-friendly, welcoming travelers who bring their furry companions along for the journey.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The biggest draw to the area is undoubtedly the First Monday Trade Days in Canton, which is one of the oldest and largest flea markets in the entire country. Staying at Canton Creek RV Park puts you just a short drive from the shopping excitement while allowing you to retreat to a quiet spot afterward. For outdoor enthusiasts, Lake Tawakoni State Park is nearby, offering world-class opportunities for fishing, boating, and hiking. You can also explore the local boutiques and southern-style eateries in downtown Wills Point for a slower-paced afternoon of exploration.

This place is great. It is a very balanced RV park and has pull through spots that are great for trade days. Also though close to trade days it is just far enough from the interstate that you can't hear it, even at night. We haven't been RVing that long but the quality of the water here is way way better than our last RV park. Another thing I love about this RV park is that people respect the rules. I keep a Blackstone grill in front of my RV. It attracts dogs and at other parks when people don't keep them on a leash they always end up on our lot. I have never had any issues with this here because there is a dog pen and everyone uses a leash when walking. I have a male cat that likes to be walked on a cat leash and this is the only place I have been able to do that because it only takes 1 person who thinks it is ok to take their dog off the leash and then I can't or shouldn't. It also has tall walls around 3 sides of the park and when the day comes that high winds come sweeping through they will be very useful.

This was an old campground afew miles from the highway. The pool was not yet open, a good number of the sites were being worked on. I gave it 4 stars because we were the only nonseasonal guests there. So, no neighbors. Only unoccupied old campers. We stayed in a fifth wheel for 5 days.

Great rv park in the country. The BEST bathroom/showers ever, just like in a house and nice laundry facility. Will definitely go back
