Nice quiet camp ground just a walk away from the only swimming beach. Water was advertised for RV camping but not that you would be sharing it with your neighbor and have to have a 100 ft hose.

It's a nice place to camp. Camp host is a nice guy. My dogs and I enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beach area for your kids and the water is shallow for little ones. We absolutely loved it! Clean and not very busy.

Ants were horrendously out of control, glass all over our 3 sites and the rules for how many tents and an rv are not the same reserving a site as they are posted so that caused issues upon arrival. All of this plus one of the rudest hosts I've ever run across. After berating us about our tents proceeds to back into one of our cars denting in the intire back door and laughed about it. I do not plan on spending anymore time at this site in the future.

I Love Canton Lake. I grew up at The Lake. Partied at The Lake. Camped Boated & Skied. Then & Now I've always found my own Private Little Beach of Paradise🌴at Sandy Cove. 🧜♀️

This is a beautiful, quiet escape. Gorgeous little campground. Several small towns within a reasonable driving distance for supplies. Nice swimming area right around the corner. Enjoyed just chilling. Definately on my radar for a return trip to check out the fishing.

I guess they had a flood in july of 2019 , it needs lots of work to get it back to looking nice, sites in the front when you first drive in are pretty close with no trees, The back ones are lot nicer sites.if we came here again we would try and get the back sites, the beach was nice and sandy, water was warm for swimming.
