This is our second year staying at Canyon Country Campground. The property is gorgeous! There is a trail that takes you right to the tower with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The facilities are very clean and Scott in the office with his dog Daisy are both very welcoming and kind. it is a short drive into the beautiful town of Wellsboro. This is a secluded gem of a place!!

Had a wonderful experience here with my husband and a group of dear friends. From the moment we arrived, we were deeply impressed by the clean & comprehensive cabins. We stayed in the A- frame cabin which was comparable to a 5 star hotel! The views were breathtaking with the hikes being extremely accessible to where we were staying. The amenities, clubhouses & sauna were beautiful. The perfect mix of seclusion & community, not too far from home. Highly recommend for all types of groups & families, and am looking forward to coming back.

Our first time booking any stay through Virbo, this experience would definitely have us try it again. As for the Canyon Country facilities and staff, we absolutely can recommend them. The cabin was modern, very well appointed, and clean. The staff was great with communication before we even left to head there and on site they were really nice and accommodating. Answered all of our questions, and offered great suggestions for seeing the sites around the area as well as good recommendations for where to go in Wellsboro for a meal. The campground is a beautiful place to getaway and unwind while enjoying some of the best views and natural areas in PA. 10/10 would recommend and my wife and I are looking forward to returning at some point in the future for another stay.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The attention to detail was superb. Everything was so clean, organized and very comfortable. Host are very easily accessible and communicate immediately when we contacted them. Hiking trails are easily accessible and the views are spectacular. The camp ground is quiet and feels very safe. It was definitely my idea of camping! My family and I can’t wait to stay here again and are looking forward to the wonderful attention we received during at stay.

Canyon Country Campground was excellent for our family fun retreat. The amenities provided were top notch during our stay. The Barrel Sauna was a great experience, along with grabbing snacks for the kids from the onsite store. Plenty to do in the area to keep you & your family busy, and we will def. be back next year. Highly recommend staying here vs. others in the area!

This was the most peaceful campground I have ever been to! It's a great little treasure spot. No loud groups or children running around screaming. Town was about 20 minutes away and the overlook was just down the road. The staff and owner are awesome people and they care about their campers. We had an issue with our truck and the owner was a big help in getting us out of a tight situation. The lots were big and clean and it felt like you were deep in the woods. Beautiful skies at night. Will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful experience! Greeted by Carrie in the office and she was the most friendly and helpful. Office was well stocked with many useful supplies and everything was very fairly priced. Campground was very well maintained. Stayed in a tent only spot and it was very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were also kept clean. Easy hike (a mile or so) to the PA Grand Canyon. The trail to get there is right on the campground property. Will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

My husband and I had a blast! The camp ground was very well maintained! We stayed in a tent and did all of our cooking over the fire. We loved how close the camp ground was to the PA Grand Canyon. We loved seeing the dogs in the office (a nice little welcoming party). The hospitality that Carrie provided did not disappoint! She was amazing throughout our entire stay! I will be recommending this camp ground to everyone I know!
