Had an amazing camping experience here!! Nice trees sights or some in the open if that what you prefer! Our sight was quiet in the evenings and so peaceful and lovely! The 9 hole golf course was amazing and so beautiful and scenic, my boys ages 10 and 11 love it too!!! We’ll definitely be back!!

Can’t really bring myself to say anything good about this place other than full hookups. You cannot pick your site, it is picked for you upon arrival, so we were stuck in a field with zero privacy and one small tree. It is advertised that there is wifi for the WHOLE campground, we couldn’t even get enough bars to get it connected. (We were probably one of the closer campgrounds to the office) so that doesn’t work. They do have a decent little outside park. But don’t let the advertisement fool you, the “indoor park” is a banquet room inside of the office with a few toys inside of it, nothing over a 3 year old would enjoy. And the laundry, it is 5.50 to wash, 4.00 to dry, but EXPECT to pay $13.50 per load because the dryer does not work properly and you need to dry at least twice!!! (I brought that to the offices attention, and was told which one works “better” than the other, and she doesn’t set the prices.) Told her how my baby was sick so I was doing a lot of laundry and didn’t get offered any type of refund for my second round of drying for any of the loads I had to do. You also have to pay to shower as if you aren’t paying enough for the not working advertisements they put out there. We drove 5 hours and had this trip planned for a long time, just to leave really disappointed. So if you are coming for everything they have to offer, save a trip and find somewhere else with full hookups.

This is a wonderful campground. There is lots of old people so it’s quiet and clean! No young kids here screaming either! The lake is about 15 mins away. The golf course is a little smaller but still a good course. The negative, you can only have 1 car per camp site, additional cars are 15 bucks per night, and have to park in public parking.

This is a great camping and 9 hole golf course. The camping is full service with big sites! And the 9 hole golf course is in excellent condition ! There is a hiking trail as well. The club house is nice and has a kitchen and liquor store!

Overall, this 9 hole course has a nice layout and is conveniently close to town. Some staff members are friendly, which prevents me from giving it just one star. However, the new owners seem out of touch with the game of golf, evident in the course's less than optimal condition. Tee boxes and greens are rough and lumpy, and weeds are abundant. The focus seems to have shifted to catering to campers and renting out a "party" room, neglecting the needs of golfers. The clubhouse lacks food service and used to lack a liquor license, though now liquor is available at high prices. Additionally, there's no beer cart on the course. The fees are steep for what's offered, especially considering nearby alternatives like Pine Hills, which offer a full 18 holes, dining options, and a well-maintained course for the added price equivalent to a drink. Booking requires credit card payment over the phone, and taking a cart out involves filling out a waiver with credit card numbers. One staff member was rather condescending, but in general most have all been friendly. Membership inquiries revealed restrictive terms and treatment of members as secondary, leading to a decision not to join. They would not negotiate membership terms (such as being able to play weekends) even when I offered to pay more. Despite being a frequent player in previous years, I am unlikely to return. It is unfortunate as the course has potential, but is not worth the premium price they charge.
