The hot springs, which were the reason we stopped for one night, were nice; the hot one is really hot and the bigger pool is warmer, but not cold at all; they close really early, and there is nothing to do here. The food they sell looks very old, so we did not buy anything from them. The older lady is a little grumpy. But the washrooms, OMG, they are horribly outdated, smelly, everything is rusted, we didn't even shower there, it's so yucky. I don't really recommend this place, there are other way better options around. And the cabins are also outdated and smell really bad. If you are outside the cabin, the constant noise from the trains is very loud, but it becomes bearable once you go inside. Next time, I would do better research, and definitely not going back.

The location is beautiful, the prices are very high. Showers on site very expensive. They claim to have hot springs pools but they are just pools with added minerals... Again very expensive. The staff is very rude understanding of course as where they are from!! Keep driving don't stop. Lots of other great place to stay.

The place is well kept, beautiful grass areas. Camp sites are good size. Beautiful scenery. Down part : - hot pool closes at 7pm is too early during the summer, we arrived and wanted to enjoy the hot spring pool and it was about to close. -The showers are so far away if you stay in the lower area, you have to walk up hill. - I'm not sure why they changed us extra $5 for our kid, we booked a camp site not a hotel room, this seems very weird and ripped off tactic. - there are train tracks close so there is constant train noise. - no play grounds.

I’m a little confused about all the 1 star reviews. My theory is that people didn’t sleep well with the train close by and wrote a review with little sleep. My wife and I showed up early (noon) as we were biking, the lady at the front counter was direct and said we were too early to check in but could enjoy the hot spring. We rented a small cabin so the pass came with it. We enjoyed the spring and relaxed in the cold and hot pool and did some laundry which was $3.50 to wash and $5 to dry, more than usual but not bad for a remote location. The lady at the front desk found us and gave us the go ahead to check in an hour early. I could see people having a problem if they aren’t able to read signs, it clearly states no food or drink in the hot spring area, a phone number to call for any bear sightings. Maybe these signs weren’t up when previous reviews were posted. Also the train is right next door as you can see on any map. Use ear plugs and a white noise machine - we used the one built in to our phones. All in all we loved it. Would recommend to others to stay.

So this is a review solely based on the “hot spring”. Did not camp and did not do anything else. So for starters it’s pretty common for hot springs to charge for towels, but the showers they have you take don’t include soap which is rather inconvenient. And if you’re booking a day pass you only get access to the hot springs for 2 hours which, normally I wouldn’t be against but it’s the first place that was so stringent and open with a rule like that, that I’ve been too. The hot springs themselves don’t get too hot. It’s pool style and pretty small. It did the job and probably is amazing in the winter but it wasnt that hot. It’s a good soak for after a hike but it didn’t exactly meet all my expectations. The views are gorgeous but the water was more really warm than hot. The locker room and showers were a bit outdated and they don’t provide soap. I mean I’m glad a hot spring exist here, but it’s good to come here with lowered expectations. It’s solid but not great. I’ll be back but I have low expectations and the price point is good for what it provides. So in the end you’re getting what you paid for (hot spring wise). The 3.3 stars it has is perfect. It’s a very middle of the road place so I’ll give it 3 stars as well

We had an excellent time during our stay in the full service RV park here! The massive green field next to the park was most welcome for playing badminton, kicking around a soccer ball and playing bocce. I would not have hesitated to stay in the campground, in fact, I'm sort of bummed that we didn't - there were some gorgeous spots! The hot springs themselves are great! A soak in the hotter pool followed by a dip in the cooler pool was relaxing and an overall great experience for our family with two kids, 10 and 12. The staff was awesome. I'm assuming it's a family run business and boy - do they work hard! Between managing the pools and constantly working the campground everything was taken care of. The only down side was that the showers in the bottom RV park were vandalized and therefore inoperable. Probably and inconvenience for those without hook ups. I will definitely come back! Maybe the next trip we will try the cabins.

This has become a yearly girls trip for me and my best friend & our daughters! The staff are super friendly and helpful! We stay in the basic cabins and they work perfect for us. The kids love the pool and the moms love that the water is on the warmer side! You can hear the train but it doesn't bother us at all:)

Beautiful spot but the train noise kills it. We stayed here twice over the last three years and each time it has been the same. The owners have owned this place for over 30 years. It is well kept but the lower part is a grassy area which seems like overflow. They dump any green waste right in the sites. It is closest to the train tracks as well as a helicopter landing pad. It is noisy all night long. The views are fabulous and the pool and hot tub are nice. The store could offer better selections. It is tough to review this beautiful place in a negative light but unfortunately a two star rating is all I can muster.
