Spending a week at Canyon was one of the best weeks in a rv resort I’ve had. The staff was super friendly, explained the different activities they had. The grounds were kept up, maybe tress should be trimmed around pool area. The pool was the highlight perfect in my world. But then I’m a water bug. A definite yes and would love to go back!!

We really enjoyed our visit here. This place has a great layout and friendly staff. The pool area with the hot tub over looking the lake was awesome. Very clean shower rooms and restrooms. We highly recommend this little resort. Be sure to check out my full review @smashingbugz on YouTube!

This is a place where people live permanently or seasonally, but they will rent you an unused spot for a shorter time. We stayed 2 nights when we were in the area for a funeral. The staff os nice and they keep the place clean. The pool area was well taken care of and actively used by the tenants.
The gazebo and other wooden structures are definitely aged but seem to be sturdy.
It is a 55 and up community, but they didn't ask our ages when we made the reservation or when we checked in. We aren't far from qualifying, though. ;)
We would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed at Canyon Lake Resort while visiting my boyfriend while he is here for work! Definitely well maintained. Pool n hot tub are a plus! Very scenic n lots of places to just sit n relax all around the resort! Will definitely stay again if we are in the area!! (Reasonably priced as well!)

Management goes above and beyond to be accommodating.
The people that live and that are drawn to the park are fabulous.

Some special activities like Mabel’s builders
Lots of green and wild life on the lake
It is a relatively quiet park
We stayed Jan. -Mar.
The bathrooms are always immaculate.

Everyone is very friendly. Staff and guests. Beautiful place with a ton of wild life. Lots of activities. The pool and hot tub are amazing. Great rates and affordable. Very short distance to Walmart and another grocery store as well as many restaurants. Palm trees, and lake with an island. Walking path and dog park (very dog friendly). Very quiet and safe area. This is our first winter here and we will probably be back.
