Relatively small, but cozy campground with entrance to the local beach. Many parking places.

Free to stay here (besides park entrance fees), outhouses are out of order so there's only portables. No showers/running water/etc, but the info center at the park entrance has washrooms (no showers) and a water fountain. Even with a lack of amenities, for a free site, it's gorgeous. Only about 10-15 spots with either a firepit or grill and a picnic table. Stunning view of the water and you can hear the waves all night. About 5-10 mins away from the skyline trail and other points of interest. Since RVs cant stay here and there are so few spots, its nice and quiet. Perfect spot to tent if you dont mind lack of amenities :)

The sound of the crashing surf below gives you an excellent night's sleep. Not often that I've been able to camp this close to the sea. Love the sunrise and sunset views here.

Great campground for sunsets and beach access. You are paying for the sunset otherwise the campground is very basic. The current fee is $24.02 payable only on site and in cash by old fashioned self-registration. No potable water (unless you boil it), no RV dump, electricity or anything else. Clean toilets and kitchen sinks right outside. Fire pits but you need to bring your own wood.

The place to go for the view and location. First class sunset viewing and overall ocean viewing. Minimum amenities and not many spots with privacy if you are looking for it. It's first come first serve so mark your spot early on busy season

The owners are fantastic, and yes I just met them when i stayed the night. The room was immaculate. It is all about the small stuff. The bed was very firm, a high quality mattress, great sleep. Solid AC system, and a deck to sit out and enjoy the sunset. If there was anything we needed, I am confident Barry and Michelle would have gotten it for us. Highly recommend, and only 2 minutes from the main street of Cheticamp.

Wow! Quite possibly the best campground location in Atlantic Canada. No wonder it has such great reviews in various travel magazines. I have lived on Cape Breton for years and have spent many nights at the two main campgrounds in the National Park but this was my first time here. The ocean is steps away and there are such beautiful views all around. Yes the spots are mostly open, but all are level and have fire pits. Very Affordable too. The spots fill up fast. We arrived around 12:30pm and by 2pm the campground was full. Self registration.
