We've stayed here 2 nights and have had no unpleasant experiences. Being on the beach is nice and hookups have all worked as expected. But it is good to know for potential guests that this IS a mostly permanent camper facility that doesn't seem to have strict rules as to the upkeep of their lots. All the spots are extremely close on grass/dirt. It facilitates easy access to PEI and gives you the needed essentials but offers nothing except the beach for any beauty that this area has to offer. A good stop over if you just need a place to stay, but not for those wanting a "pretty" park. Just my honest opinion.

Great family campground. Clean and well maintained! Very friendly and helpful staff!! Beautiful sandy beach with views of the Northumberland Strait and watch the lobster boats sail in with their catch. The store has the Best gluten free baked goods at very reasonable prices, honest🥖🍞🧁. Pet friendly.

Very friendly staff. Beach front lot with no services for a very good price(28) in June. When tide out, the beach walk is nice with a lot of clams spraying at you. Very old lighthouse on the old ferry wharf. Never used the coin showers but did laundry. Stayed 2 days

Was only at the campground long enough for a bathroom break... But the washrooms were very clean. The biggest charm of the area is going to the wharf and seeing what it is now and imagining what it was like back when the ferries were still running. Beautiful area and the campgrounds devotion to Lighthouses in my opinion makes it definitely worth a visit.

Small seaside campground. Very quiet. Scenic. Not far away, near the old lighthouse, you can buy super fresh lobster at $8 a lb... wonderful. Mosquitoes are heavy in late August.

We we’re recommended this place by a local resident. We were so happy came here. They have campsites right next to the beach . The view was fantastic. I bought lobsters directly from the fishing boat . The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The washrooms and showers are very clean. We can’t wait to come back next year

Nice camping. Ideal for children. There are two bad things: too many mosquitoes and young staff are very smug, they have a condescending attitude towards you.

We had such a relaxing visit! We played radio bingo and enjoyed a firework show. The beach is beautiful and great if you are a treasure hunter like I am.

Our first time staying at this campsite. It's quite popular with a lot of seasonal RV sites and some temporary use. We were tent camping and while we were somewhat to the side there were several times in the night that random vehicles drove by, people playing loud music, fireworks being let off after campsite curfew etc.... The beach is nice and the staff seem friendly just don't expect peace and quiet. Mosquitoes were a huge problem the one night we camped and into the morning, definitely wear bug spray or bring bug protection of some kind.

Peaceful area along the Ocean before crossing the bridge to PEI. Little piece of paradise
