nice easy to find RV park near scottsbluff, sites were level, and the pet playground was fantastic for the dog! easy to find next to the highway, there were no showers or bathrooms in the park though, but i believe they were building them when we stopped by. not a big deal since we had our RV.

I know there are people that cant afford nice things but the clutter around some of the full time people that live there is beyond acceptable. The amou.t of flies that was at our camp site was very overwhelming and discusting. The only good thing about this park is they have a nice dog park. Yes the park sits beside the train tracks and is very noisy. A train goes by every 15-30 min and blows their horn . I'm choosing not to add the pic of our site due to not publicly shaming the rv that was beside us.

Enjoyed staying at this park. The owner is the nicest lady! Told her we have 2 dogs and were planning to stay for an extended amount of time. She made it a point to place us in a good shady spot for them. It was nice being able to talk directly with her and not a service center. The dog park was a good size and had plenty of balls to play with. The train really didn't bother us. Excellent water pressure, shade, and nice roads. Lots of updates are being made. Wish we could've stayed longer to be able to use them.

Needed a place to stop during our travels. Would never stop here again. Train is literally right next to park and blows the horns right next to park. Trains ran until almost midnight and again at like 4 in the morning. Ear plugs won’t help, absolutely horrible. Park seems very run down and even check in building. Many long term residents and some units run down. Worst place I think we’ve been to and we have camped at over 120 different parks. Also, not big rig friendly. Only a couple spots that would fit us (37ft 5th wheel).

I can’t thank Sue (owner) enough, I’m a nurse and I think she is truly an angel, as a first timer in RV living she helped us out so much getting settled in and actually saved me and my partner’s life, literally. I really enjoyed living here these past few months at her RV park!

Nice camp ground. Ran by a sweet lady. Only down side was the 100s of trains that go by all night long. Other then that we liked this place.

This campground was amazing Sue is very accommodating and her campsite is cheaper then others in the area. During a storm my kids were scared of tornadoes so sue invited us in her home and did an art project with them to distract them. I defidebtly would stay there again.

Sue is absolutely amazing! We stayed here for a month while transitioning to a house nearby. If you want accommodating and superior customer service at a no nonsense affordable park that is absolutely pet friendly, with amazing views of the monument-look no further!!!! Highly recommend!

We live full time in our 35 foot motorhome and have stayed in a lot of parks in 21 states. As a full timer I am looking for location and price more than anything. We love to hike and explore neat outdoor locations. This park is just minutes from Scottsbluff monument, a beautiful 1.5 hour through Sandhills from Toadstools and Fort Robinson, 30 minutes from Chimney Rock, an hour from Carhenge (a must!) and about ten minutes from Wildcat State park. Not to mention tons of museums and Oregon trail history to check out. They have full hookups (50 amp) with generous sites and hands down the best water pressure of any park we have ever stayed at. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, the dog park is grassy, and the area is walkable. There is a long road you can walk a few miles down. It is next to a busy road but the frontage road has very little traffic. We saw a wild turkey once and a pair of nesting Osprey every morning on our walk. The Osprey are across the street on top of a power pole. Pretty cool! Yes, there is a train and yes it is loud BUT are you booking your stay for the amenities at the park or the amenities in the surrounding area? There is no pool or bathhouse but again, the area is wonderful! Invest in a white noise maker to run while you sleep. We turn ours in every night and slept like babies. We stayed 2 and a half weeks and I would stay here again.

We stayed here over the weekend and were welcomed even though we arrived after 9pm. Very convenient for us with a dog and she enjoyed the dog park. The train going through about 4 times during the night was only downfall. We enjoyed our stay and owner is very delightful and helped us find our spot. Site very quite and everyone seemed very respectful.

This will we a painfully honest review as the proprietor has our sympathy taking a rundown location and working to turn it around. It was quiet and the camper slips are relatively level with all the amenities you would expect, power, sewer and water in working order. What's not so pleasant is spacing not all slips have picnic tables trains passing, and the grounds over all are in rough rundown shape, however they are working on it give it time and help it along today. Set your expectations low and a stay here will be pleasant have high expectations and you will be unhappy.... Cya on the road and best wishes.

Sue is very friendly and helpful. We knew we would be arriving later in the evening, so we called ahead to let her know we were coming and she gladly accommodated us. No issues with power or water. We knew the bathrooms and showers were closed so we came prepared and had no problems. Will be back!

Sue was a lovely host! We experienced issues with our camper and she went above and beyond to help us. The campground is a great value and conveniently located near all of the major historical sites in Scottsbluff. As other reviewers mentioned, this is, indeed, a basic campsite. There are no amenities (pool, playground, etc.). This is not necessarily a negative (sometimes the bells and whistles are just too much and can really put a damper on the camping experience), but definitely something to keep in mind.
