Huge campground with the biggest camping lots I've ever stayed at. Lots of shade. Although there was a fair amount of I-71 traffic noise. Looked like there were some camp sites further away that would be quieter. Shooting range sites were newer without shade. Overall great venue for our Knights of Columbus State campout

We stayed the week for SCTP nationals. One bath house is NOT sufficient for thousands of people. To make matters worse that one bathhouse only gets serviced and cleaned once daily. That is unacceptable for the large population this campground serves during nationals. Paper towels were not refilled after Wednesday. Soap dispensers had long intervals of being empty. The campground is charging a fortune for people to stay here for this event and not even keeping up with the very basic needs of the campers.

The place is okay but SCTP just sucks now. They’re coming up with all sorts of new rules. The team that I shoots for only shoots a few registered shoots per year and we’re just now finding out that the supposedly registered targets that we shot at regionals is no longer registered. This is going to screw over my entire team. Thanks for nothing SCTP. I’m sorry I ever shot in your events. If it makes you feel any better, yall also screwed my average. I hope you know AIM is 100 times better than the crap you run out there. At least they can honor their registered targets. They also shoot real handicap not this aged based junk. In the future, my team is going to be reducing or eliminating shooting for SCTP.

This was a camping experience with full hookup. They have nice cabins, indoor pool, fishing lake, and nice playground with large bounce pad. There are golf carts to rent because it is very large. They also allow your own carts and only camping that allows side by sides and off road vehicles. Attached to a shooting center with sporting clays, trap, skeet, and a pistol range all for a reasonable price. Very nice place. We go there at least once a year!

The Cardinal Center is my absolute favorite place to shoot and camp. The pond is cool for fishing and the pool is nice and clean. The people there are super nice and the service is great at the camp office. There’s also a restaurant nearby that usually has live music and pretty decent food. The golf cart rental is super easy and affordable and that makes it very helpful to get around. it is such an awesome place to go to and I highly recommend checking it out for a weekend.

The place is huge. Management is super helpful. We stayed out in the "parking lot" ... but still enjoyed our stay. Would love to stay again in the main RV campground area. There is a dog park, playground, pavilion, ponds, swimming pool, bathroom/showers ... not certain about laundry but there is one up by the main road.

I love this place I’m so glad to see the people that run it John and his wife they are awesome people we will definitely be back but I hope we get by better people this time who camp on there own spot and turn the volume down on the tv all weekend but it’s a great place and we will start coming here more often our space was lovely right by the pond and I love the showers they are nice and clean thanks everyone

Spacious campsites, beautiful campground is very large, 100s of sites. We stayed at the loop around the small lake, which I recommend. Campsites have lots of space between around this loop. Lots of cabins too. Roads are wide, easy to back in. Our site was quite short and we had to disconnect our vehicle or we would have been in road even though we only stayed one night. Reason for four stars was highway noise and difficulty finding campground. Signage on 61 is nonexistent. Located alongside I-71 so there is loud highway noise all night. It is convenient for one night stopovers but loud. Great playground and beautiful setting.
